Nice, easy-going people; Always out the door at 5

    Cons

Rather mundane atmosphere; Don't see much growth in the company

  2. Decent company, not going to grow in printing industry, but good for some experience

    Pros

Stable job, do your work and get your money. Quiet but nice environment. People were generally friendly. Most always able to leave at 5pm.

    Cons

Tight on budget for salaries and slightly shrinking in printing/copying industry. They are looking into other techs and consulting though. Not a great place to grow, but good for experience.

    Advice to Management

Management and the company as a whole has to work for more innovation. Many of the people in management are comfortable and OK with doing just enough

    Pros

You can come and go as you want. Their idea of "flexible working" means everyone comes and goes as they want and their manager has no idea where they are.

    Cons

Raises? Do not exist. There is literally no annual review or raise process. The only way to get a raise is to go the President and threaten to leave. However there is no such thing as an annual raise or even review process. Of course if you are one of the 20 or so people that are relatives or family friends with the former owner you'll do ok since his son-in-law is President. Oh, and it's a declining industry with zero new products or hope for growth.

    Advice to Management

Have a management team. The "senior management team" is comprised of a few yes men. All decisions go through the President. He is a nice guy but a mico manager who is completely over his head.
