Pros
Co-workers were great, direct managers were great for work-life balance. Fun plan to work.
Cons
Upper management had no long term vision. Very cheap. Tried to find ways to do things the cheapest instead of trying to do them most efficiently. Layoffs every quarter, have not reinstated 401k matching
Advice to Senior Management
reinstate the 401k matching, promote from within, quit being so cheap.
Pros
Good pay, benefits are competitive, PTO is good, travel is good, no micro managment
Cons
Division staff never really know what is going on, because of too many layers of managment to go through.
Little to no annual reviews
It is all about numbers, numbers and targets
Advice to Senior Management
When someone wants to be cross trained, let them be able to be cross trained, even if it is in their off time, most will do it.
Divisions need to communicate better with in, since the offerings to our customers are across divisions.
Pros
Global company with massive customer base and huge revenue
Company still growing so there are lots of opportunities
Cons
Inconsistent culture
Poor career progression opportunities
Pros
My team manager and certain senior consultants.
Cons
No proper communication from the management. Local management was not competent enough. No long term thinking. Short sighted management.
Advice to Senior Management
Identify the right people to lead the local organisation. Believe and communicate in the Infor Brand. Think long term and don't decide on the quarterly revenues alone. Train the sales and customer facing guys on the capabilities and advancement done in the products by the development.
Pros
Great benefits. Ability to work from home when needed.
Cons
No real potential for growth unless you take your manager's job. No raises on salary and not bonus structure unless you are an executive or a sales person.
Advice to Senior Management
Raise salary pay and 401K matching should come back.
Pros
Great product offering & value to our customers
Good people to partner with for success for now
Work/Life balance is okay
Cons
Challenges with changes & communication - too layered in process
Growing political environment
Need to listen to employees for input
Make it easier for customers to buy
Develop & retain your talent
Advice to Senior Management
Consider change management as a phased approach
Cut the heavily layered processes
Cut the politics
Pros
International environment; Great customers; great colleagues
Cons
Every year a new organization setup. marketing and sales strategy - sometimes even faster
Managers only aiming at their targets
No raise, no praise
Constant threat of layoffs
Too many managers with high blabla-level
Advice to Senior Management
Stop focussing on the figures for the 'exit', start focussing on products, employees and customers
Pros
-Base pay
-Work environment
-Opportunities for advancement
-Open lines of communication
Cons
-constant change
-Sales quotas are not set fairly
Pros
Plenty of vacation days given
Cons
Management is clueless
Too much focus on numbers to meet goals
Pros
The culture is very friendly and the employees get sufficient freedom to innovate. Managers doesnt constantly monitor your work and the work schedule is very flexible.
Cons
The opportunity to grow is pretty less and depends on the team you get to work on. In most cases, the work could get boring and monotonous.
Advice to Senior Management
Reward and retain valuable employees. And please stop hiring incompetent people. The hiring policy in the last few years have been dismal. The compensation to the freshers are ridiculously low to attract any promising candidate.
