    Pros

They really work hard to try and get the people they need for the job at hand. The work I did was interesting and I even learned a few new things I didn't expect.

    Cons

When I was there the chain of command (sorry for the military jargon) wasn't always followed. Sometimes others would try and direct me on how to do my job or even what the customer should get because the 'customer doesn't know what he wants, we have to tell that.' I don't particularly care for that type of attitude towards a customer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you can to keep people in line and everything else will work out great.

Current Employee - Any  in  San Antonio, TX
Current Employee - Any in San Antonio, TX

    Pros

Good for former military with no IT experience. Good place to pick up security clearance and Security+ certification for free. Good for networking for the next job. Pay can be good, depending entirely on when and with which sub-contractor you are hired.

    Cons

Frustrating work environment. Little-to-no opportunity for advancement. Advancement reduces job security. Inconsistent direction. Contract work, no momentum to improve. Contract Management and Customer leadership are too frequently at odds.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote based on merit. Be certain a person is capable of performing a task before giving them a job. Abandon personal agendas. Employees are people, much like your husbands, wives and children, not chairs. Do not make up answers. It damages your credibility and, at best, makes you look a fool.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
