Advice to Senior Management
A lateral switching of roles can provide better learning and can equip the employees with the knowledge to handle any situation.
The role of HRs should also be modified to connect it more to the employees.

Advice to Senior Management
Most of my managers, at every level of the entire hierarchy, were quite efficient and were always on the look out for continuous improvement.
Pros
Good infrastructure, Good facilities,Good food,Good for freshers, Good discipline seen in employees, Good security.
Cons
No Growth if you do not know politics, Work life balance depends upon ur project, Promotions are not easy, Onsite is a just a option, Huge variable pay in ur salary, Too much rules.
Advice to Senior Management
Try to stop politics. Try to place a team in one location rather splitting across the country and the globe, be flexible in working hours and minimize the rules.
Pros
Has a Brand Name, due to which some people are proud
Awesome Infrastructure, Anyone will love it
Cons
Lots of Variable pay, due to which you will take home would be very less.
Advice to Senior Management
Remove Variable component from employees sal and make it fixed. Attrition rate would decrease then.
Pros
1. Good Campus
2. organised policies
Cons
1. working hours
2. compensation
Advice to Senior Management
Take care of your employees who have been long runners!
Pros
Brand name associated with it.

Better colleagues
Good overall management
Cons
The pay is very less as compared to other companies
Fewer opportunities for freshers to work on challenging problems
Shift duty
Advice to Senior Management
There should be better increment policies so that employee can meet up his requirements in this costlier world.
There should be better promotion policies too.
Pros
Good company to start your career with. The training modules & thorough learning modes help you to create a good foundation in your career.
Good Campus for sightseeing and enjoying
Cons
It includes a long list :
1. They do not pay at par with market and claim to maintain high level of professionalism while offering
2. Everything is paid... food, transport, even parking for your vehicle. If you reach office after 10 AM, you have to wait outside campus to let some bikes/cars vacate some space. Else park nearby and company deducts 15/day for parking. They think they are doing favour to employees by providing parking
3. Infosys just boasts a lot in media & news. In actual terms it is good for nothing. They say "with 17k crores of cash pile they will be the last to shut their company" but infact with a slight rumour of recession in market, they are the first one to deduct variable pay
4. They have their salary divided into variable components. Individual, Unit & Company performance. Anyone working hard to maintain a rating of 1 is still paid only 70% of the total variable component.
5. Lifts & Escalators stop at 5 PM for cost cutting. Even sometime bathrooms are locked.
6. No good projects. You will find yourself frustrated with job monitoring kinda jobs
7. People hired at roles of Leads & Managers are on bench for as long as 1.5 yrs. Finally a friend of mine quit after waiting for 15 months for allocation to a project. Though on bench, he was made to serve full 3 months of notice period
8. Employee need to maintain a quarterly average hours of 9hrs 15 mins --- time they need to spend in office
9. Employees do not get place to sit / computers to work after joining. Still required to stay in office for 9 hrs 15 min
Advice to Senior Management
Rather than being concerned about your profit margins & increasing the cash pile emphasise on harnessing the talent you have/hire.
With time, understand that you need to review your policies to make them employee friendly.
Rather than passing on the throne to founders, let young people lead the way
Pros
1) Knowledge sharing infrastructure is well in place
2) If you want to learn yourself there is enough material available
Cons
1) You will never ever get more than 75% of salary mentioned in your offer letter
2) 99% of People at PM, SPM, GPM level are Sycophants and they are there just to suck life out of you
3) A lot of policies are preached but HR will never ever allow you to use your options, better kill yourself and be free than escalating anything
4) Appraisal are one of the most sad and dramatic process here. People who had been in Org for more than 5-7 years are only ones considered eligible.
5) PMs will only tell you all the lies about policies and never allow you to get any clarification, if you manage to get right information it dont matter. PMs are your gods. Kneel and lick their feet if you want to live through your days at Org.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat human like human. People with good skills usually try to do their best and excel and sycophancy is a a big rot in Org that cant stand excellence. Do try to deal with this culture when there is still time left.
Pros
Training, Fair Policies, Nice campus
Cons
Values now don't exist in the company, iRACE, Too many employees, A lot of people on bench.
Advice to Senior Management
It is the employees who work, so treat employees as your biggest asset and not your campus.
