Pros
Good infrastructure which makes you feel as good place to be.
Liberty to employees. Facilities provided for entertainment are some good things.
Cons
Learning curve stops after sometime also the salary of people staying,
It seems the company motivates the employee to move on after you spend some time.
Advice to Senior Management
Middle level management is worse. Senior management should take care of it to stop the attrition rate.
Employee should be treated equal irrespective of a lateral or a person spending some time with same experience.
Pros
guidence from skilled mentors helps a lot for one's career.
Cons
i was not satisfied economicaly.
Advice to Senior Management
keep on offering jobs.
Pros
awesome client base, interesting projects, intellectually better people, apolitical office atmosphere, facilities, very serious aspirations to be seen as a consulting leader
Cons
bureaucratic, can do better/quicker decision making, conservative mindset and a culture of being afraid to make mistakes in several pockets
Advice to Senior Management
communicate, communicate, communicate - create communication champions at local levels and please stop relying on emails as the best way to broadcast changes
invest in ensuring inclusivity, make promotions transparent, listen to employee population's queries
Pros
opportunities and the campus available
Cons
work life balance and the dresscode
Advice to Senior Management
you can say infosys is first in employee values. But i havent seen that at all.
Pros
Infosys gives best in class trainig. One of the best training center in world. Its too good for beginners. Narayan Murthy Sir is the only reason that made me to join Infy. True Leader.
Cons
Compensations are very poor compared to perr companies
Advice to Senior Management
Have to increase the compensation otherwise attrition rate wont reduce.
Pros
-great work environment
-good management
-open culture
- work life balance
Cons
-below par salary as compared to others
- Sea of people so making org wide impact difficult
Advice to Senior Management
Focus more on quality work rather quantity
Pros
the best place to work..probably because of the brand value and mainly because of its campus infrastructure which is definitely a posive point to look into...
Cons
the main con's in infosys is the work pressure..we have to work for long hours but it is worth it..the pro's are more than the con's believe me
Advice to Senior Management

Pros
The only reason is so-called job security. Even that is no longer true with their iRace policy. Infrastructure is good. Apart from that, its the best deal for relatively older laterals. People from top engineering colleges get a higher role (at entry level without any training) than people from other engineering colleges spending 3-4 years with the company.
Cons
Stupid HR policies. They believe in employee policing, enforcing impractical rules etc. You never get recognized even with best appraisals. Regionalism is rampant everywhere from onsite to promotion. They prefer to hire laterals from outside rather than promote their own people internally even if outsiders are not competent enough. A lot depends on your equation with manager rather than the actual work performed. Salary is very low compared to similar jobs elsewhere. A software engineer with 4 years Infosys experience after becoming a senior system engineer post iRace can see an IIT fresher get a higher role. Their PR efforts don't justify the ground realities.
Advice to Senior Management
Every human being has certain basic aspirations & expectations. Please treat human beings like humans not cattle. Rather than maintaining expensive infrastructure, invest in your employees. Don't try to fool the public by PR efforts when the ground reality is something else.
Pros
Good work life balance.
Good work Environment
Cons
Underpaid as compared to similar compaies
Career Developement path muddled after middle management level
Pros
facility is extraordinary. nicely landscaped campus. cool quiet calm environment.huge food courts. laundromat facility at cheaper rate. cheap food items. health club.
Cons
compensation does not matches industry standard. senior management does not address grass root level for all concerns.work environment.
Advice to Senior Management
increase the compensation package to suit current market rate. make work place a fun loving environment. stay in touch with employees. create the wow factor in every employees mind.
