I worked at Infosys full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

onsite opportunities, some good and sincere employees

    Cons

The company policies are only to trouble the employee, your management will think you work for them not for the company and like they own your lives.
When you get onsite, your role is reduced to a project coordinator, basically your learning is reduced to nothing but a SME for the application you represent. So when you look for a change, basically you are no where

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think about the employee too if you will regain your glory.

I worked at Infosys full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Very good office campus in India, good opportunity for Onsite, very good training facilities. It's a very good company fresh out of college, transition from college campus to real world professionals is smooth. Various non technical courses like Cultural Sensitivity help employees to better adjust in other countries.

    Cons

Too less pay, employees not valued enough, stringent rules on promotions which sometimes does not allow the most deserving candidates to move ahead on the "ladder". While certifications ensure that the employees have updated domain and technical skills, the management should also be lenient on the fact that employees are actually working for long hours to meet project deadlines and will not have time to complete the mandatory certifications in the stipulated time, hence ruining their chances of being promoted in spite of working hard to meet customer requirements.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please value employees, increase pay, and do change your rules regarding promotions.
