Pros

My first project manager was really helpful and understanding. He appreciated good work and gave room for people to work on their own time. My second manager was exactly the opposite so the work was not very enjoyable. But people are helpful and definitely make the workplace enjoyable.

Cons

Company policy is not employee friendly. And training period is too long and unnecessary.

Advice to Senior Management

Please reduce the length of the training program at Mysore and allow employees to work from home. Also, reduction of the 9.15 hour rule would be great.

- Compensation is average as compared to other IT services companies
- Not growing at a fast pace and hence stagnation after some Manager roles

- Try to evaluate Senior Management roles and stagnation and attrition root cause and fix it

Pros

the best benefits, a very competitive salary, a good brand name which would help for a healthy hop on later.

Cons

poor career growth within the company, no clear job descriptions and therefore not much specialization, bradbanding has made promotions even slower. it has increased flexibility though which would benefit only the company not the employees.

Advice to Senior Management

please be way more empathetic. stop delivering heavy statements to the media about how concerned you are about the employees. rather change the definition of wellness. wellbeing of employees is not in their complacency its in their growth.

One of the great places to work and be proud as well. Excellent training program, provided great opportunities to enhance my career professionally and personally.
Very good onsite opportunities.
Great client projects and very good exposure.

Cons

Pay package is miserable
People who stay with the company for longer duration gets less pay compared to laterals.
Promotions are linked to certifications which is crap!
9.15 hours mandatory working hours

Please take care of existing loyal employees by providing good pay structure. Take off certifications linking to promotions which is hampering growth for many individuals.

After the training there s no work in accordance to it.

3) Lot of things takes place in Infosys for benefits of employee like concerts or even technical sessions, sports events, etc.

1) If possible please try to remove the rule of quarterly average working hours of 9.15 because quality of work should be measured and not quantity

awesome company - you will find great people to work with - I started my career with Infosys - and so far have learned a lot.

There is absolutely no growth what so ever. The upper management sucks big time.

Good work culture, Good training, Best facilities like Gym, swimming pool, sports ground, pool ans snooker tables etc, good transport facility.

Cons

daily calls, we need to maintain average working hours, very few leaves, very less compensation provided by the company, work not recognized by the manager
