Even if you are trained in a different technology you will still have a chance that you might end up working in some other technology
Salary hike are not very consistent.

    Not inspirational to work

    Technology Analyst (Current Employee)
    Cupertino, CA

ProsIf you lethargic and don;t want to move, want to just settle down. It's a retirement company.

ConsIt more challenging. It's client centric, rather than focussing on technology and innovation.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake radical decision, to promote the people who are really contributing to company success, instead of following some dumb policies.

Good Place for Freshers and Technology Growth depends upon Type of Work given by Client

    Technical Lead (Former Employee)
    Cupertino, CA

Pros1. Good Processes in place for each and every thing, even to issue a stationery.
    2. Onsite Opportunities which helps you grow globally
    3. If you are in good Account or domain which is using cutting edge technology, then you can learn lot of new things fairly quickly
    4. Good place to grow for freshers.

Cons1. Salaries at Onsite are not at all comparable with Onsite Infosys recruits or Other Companies.
    2. To much processes and red tapism sometimes frustrates you.
    3. Work in some of the Accounts outsourced by Clients to Infosys is not of that technical challenging and you will be left behind in this technology race soon and be outdated.
    4. Company take less steps to retain their technical talent in their core accounts, they don't care.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to retain your Technical Talent before you loose them all.
