    Pros

    * campuses are fully loaded which include gyms, badminton courts, cricket ground, swimming pool. they are some of the best. well maintained. * celebrity events occassionally. * Onsite oppurtunities. * you can find people with similar hobbies and there are clubs to participate in. * on bench concept though it seems to have been withdrawn now. Unfortunately, I never got to be on bench :(.

    Cons

    * dont care for employees preference for working in a technology. I can understand if its a fresher but this approach is true for laterals as well which doesnt make sense. * quarterly average logged time is a really bad idea. * strict adherence to policies when employees tries to claim a benefit like reimbursement etc. but the policies are bent when senior managers need to get work done. * appraisal system sucks. * managers tend to favor the boot lickers and not the hard workers. this may be true in any organization. * Onsite salary less than market average. * over time not easily approved and are expected to put in personal hours without complaining. Overtime, even if approved, can be withdrawn once the hours are logged. * tie wearing days.

    Advice to Management

Immediate managers have too much power and control and the senior managers dont care how the employee is slogging it out. very unhealthy attitude. Also, no hikes were given during my stay while the dividends were paid out to shareholders. This indirectly was a hike to old timers. Do you really think the shareholders are the ones responsible for deliverables. You should treat your employees with more respect.

    Pros

Good opportunity if you want to work in IT consulting related projects. Management is a little flexible depending on employee needs.

    Cons

Projects generally tend to be long 6 months to 2 years A lot of disparity between salaries of folks in the same role with similar experience. The are practically 0 management consulting projects the company has won in the past 4 years. Project types are now restricted to PMO roles with a bit of function roles.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to take a long hard look at how the organization is pitched to both employees and clients. While it might be the industry norm to mislead employees to the kind of work/role they are being hired for, maybe management should try being different from the industry and be honest about the role an employee is being hired for.
