Former Employee – worked at Infosys full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Decent work culture, alignment with Values, good infrastructure, big organization, relatively less politics which is changing from being good to worse.
Cons – Stuck with Verticals and a little too rigid , doesnt provide too many options once an employee is stuck with a technology or domain. The company should reconsider the appraisal style and should defenitely start to look at their pay package. Slowly but surely, the Infosys work culture is waning out.
Advice to Senior Management – The company should reconsider the appraisal style and should definitely start to look at their pay package.

Current Employee – been working at Infosys full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – - Management is pretty lazy so they don't micromanage you
- The provide a small gym and free vending machines in the office
- Culturally accepting of many people
Cons – - The salaries are horrible. You are classified and paid as a certain title but you are expected to carry out leadership duties and never get rewarded for it.
- Benefits are expensive (and about to go up again) for US employees
- Benefits are weak through Aetna, Medical, Dental and Vision are average, Pharmacy is horrible for US employees
- No 401k match, no retirement benefit at all for US employees
- Employees are ranked like the old Indian Caste System, Employees below a 5 level get very little support in terms of equipment, ticket resolution. If you are a level 2 employee you are dirt.
Advice to Senior Management – Understand that if you intend to do business in the US you have to treat the US employees differently. The reason this company is such a stepping stone for people is because of the way you treat them. For a company that is so culturally forward thinking you do a horrible job of recognizing that you can't apply the same governance in two different nations.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
