I have been working at Infosys full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Values, Work ethics, Learning. If you perform, opportunities will keep coming.

    Cons

Decision making power is centralized at top management. Lower level managers who directly work with developers and architects have minimal control on making employee friendly decisions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't just go by policies every time. Some of them sound stupid. For example, to get internet access during office hours, a developer has to get approval from Delivery Manager or DC head. It doesn't make sense since they have no idea whether the developer needs it or not. Direct manager should be the best person to decide and approve or disapprove

I have been working at Infosys full-time

    Pros

Great work-life balance, leadership is good mostly but is side tracked with misconceptions and stereotypes and heeding to incorrect or mimicked status reports. Promotions are not good in all units but are fast paced in other areas. Management listens when your growth stops for a long no. of years.

    Cons

The values were compromised with too much incompetent talent taking managerial positions and living on other's effort. An effective/efficient interviews were not conducted to recruit the laterals.
