I have been working at Infosys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    * Amazing leadership vision to sustain in Industry. * Constant re-invention of strategy. * In most projects, you have a feeling of family & camaraderie I've been an employee for little over half-a-decade. I've seen imperfections along way, but which huge company is without such minor discomforts. The way I saw it, work hard and the company will notice. Infosys is really nit-picky about Meritocracy, and the best way to catch the Org's attention is to have a solid Technical skill set. Go out and grab opportunities to showcase that, and you'll be appreciated for life. Some projects, I have seen complaints of nepotism & poor management. Rather than complaint, the org has excellent forums for moving across the firm. Use them.

    Cons

    * Regardless of the Org's high-level vision of meritocracy, the employees are at times placed in situation which does not necessarily grow their merit. * At times, heavy dependence on the employee to take matter into own hands and change things. Could be both good (helps cultivate unique skillset) or bad (drives lack of focus in task in hand).

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and provide better talent management. Place employees in projects & tasks appropriately. Make moving across units a little more easy. Go a tad bit easy on the process horse.
