I worked at Infosys full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    1. Large company, with lot of name and fame.
    2. Training period will be tough but at the same time, fun.
    3. Best place to start a career with.

    Cons

    1. Very less scope to get into development projects, because of which most of the resources will be working on legacy technologies.
    2. If you are at Onsite, forget about latest technologies. It always depends on the manager.
    3. You will be in situations where you have to choose between onsite or promotion. Promotions happen very rarely at onsite, unless you are a pet to your manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As the rotation policy is implemented to Junior/Mid level developers, like till the role of Technology Lead, it will be really helpful if the managers and senior managers also come under this policy.

I have been working at Infosys full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Employee-friendly, great campuses and facilities, opportunities for travel across the globe, very good training programs

    Cons

Poor paymaster, Delayed Promotions, career progression dependent on certification completion- when the project is hectic and workload is high, it is difficult to meet the certification cut-off and this is used against you when you are qualified in every other way for a promotion

I have been working at Infosys full-time for more than a year

    Pros

1.If you clearly set a goal for your selves on how your professional life should be in next 4 years. You can keep tracking the progress with the management and can actually achieve it.
2.You can always fight to get what you want.

    Cons

1.Salary and Performance rating systems are not efficient.
2.Be ready to spend significant amount of time for work.Sometimes you have to slog days and nights.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

1.There are people leads/managers who are very political and trying to supress other teams and peers by frequent escalations. They don't do any work or held responsibility for any thing ,but ready to make others responsible always.Be cause of some reason their managers knowingly are not able to take action on them. This is the reason other team members suffer and want to exit the company.
