    Cons

    Pros

If the contract is interesting, then it worth trying it out. Work and life balance is up to your career aspirations. If you want to pursue your education growth and willing to do it in your own time and cost then they will appreciate it in your review.

    Cons

Infosys doesn't know how to keep local based employees. They will offer you a competitive salary, and then never give you a raise regardless of any promotions. Infosys salaries are still lower than US standards and their HR just doesn't have the infrastructure to deal with the difference. So you'll never get a raise. Infosys is big on employees getting certification and will pay for the cert, just not for the training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't hire local citizens until Infosys knows how to deal with them. You'll just frustrate the employees and will not retain them.

    Pros

Amazing projects and work culture! Employees are given ample opportunities to learn and grow. If you are lucky enough to work with managers from 2000 batch then you would get to learn things that will stay with lifetime!

    Cons

Promotions are rare and compensation is not as per the industry standards! Company is not employee friendly anymore and the new policies are very very restrictive.
