I have been working at Infosys full-time

    Pros

Great autonomy. Lots of freedom to decide how your work will get done. You can either work very closely with other members of the client team or work independently. All that matters is (1) your work, (2) your ability to deliver, and (3) your ability to connect well with the customers.

    Cons

    (1) Very low pay for the hours they want you to work. And you are not paid based on performance. Everyone is expected to do a great job. But only those on the inner circle get paid accordingly.
    (2) Another major con is that the bonus is not what they say it is. You are paid a percentage of a percentage of a percentage of what they say your bonus is - even if you exceed your numbers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    (1) Be truthful about your bonus scheme to new recruits. It is disheartening for team members to consistently achieve their targets, but never get paid accordingly. (2) Give the employees a reason to believe in their work. The current culture lack this greatly.

I worked at Infosys full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Ethical company, good people to work with. The higher management sometimes seems to be more towards balance sheet than employee relation. Really enjoyed working with my immediate manager and peers. Its always fun to work with people who co-operate each other and help each other. Infosys is such a company which still has a good concentration of people who understand and help colleges and not just focus on to get more business and beat the competition with other vendors.

    Cons

    Not a good pay master.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Focus on employee as well.

I have been working at Infosys full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Excellent place to work for. Company values each resource aspirations. Senior management is very approachable. Your career path will be defined properly.

    Cons

The struggle to establish yourself with the huge workforce is always a challenge for lateral. You competitor would be the existing employees who would have stayed with the company for decades.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The salary structure needs to be revisited. If that would be taken care of no one in the service industry can not beat Infosys. I would never think of leaving this company in my lifetime.
