I have been working at Infrared Industries full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

It can get real busy but everyone pitches in to get the work done. If you want to learn and grow, the owner encourages you. If you show that you can do more, you are given more pay. Hours are flexible and if you need personal time it is given. It is a good team and everyone gets along.

    Cons

You have to ask for a raise or it will probably not be offered.
Not enough vacation time. You have to use most of it on company closing over the Christmas holidays.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Would like to see good performance rewarded without having to ask.
Would like to see more vacation time given

I worked at Infrared Industries full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

-Good for entry level office assistant that want fast experience
-In the beginning the owners are nice, the work is fine, the work is never the problem.

    Cons

-Employees are treated as is if their disposable
-Owners constantly yell and belittle employees, unless you are a tech (think they might be sexist)
-Have to clean up after their dogs even though they foster & don't tell you about this upfront
-Lack of training puts front office staff on the short end of the stick and the blame game begins.
-No time schedule for product delivery results in upset customers
-Owners do not talk to each other, instead fight with each other making it an uncomfortable work enviornment
-Instead of communicating when an issue arises one of the owner only deals with conflict through emails and in the end nothing gets resolved. (SMALL office, two owners, two office admins, two techs)
-To say sexual harrasment by other workers would put it mildy and the owners make a joke out of it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

IRI was a great company the first month, however, owners got comfortable and treated not only my but other former employees awful. Instead of favoring one employee, learn to respect them all. No employee will ever stay when you treat them as disposable.

  3.

Be prepared to be stressed out everyday 5 days a week & 8 hours yelling/harassment.

I worked at Infrared Industries full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Being thankful to have a job

    Cons

-No privacy, when a personal matter comes up and you tell the owner, expect for the whole office to know and joke about it
-Doing things off the clock are never appreciated and come to be expected
-Be prepared to be verbally abused on a daily basis by the female owner
-Lack of training puts front office staff on the short end of the stick and the blame game begins.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

GET A HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT. PLEASE.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
