Pros
Ingenix employs really solid talent. My colleagues, co-workers, management are all a very solid group of well educated and stellar professionals. There is a phenomenal talent pool here. The sense of team is very strong too. This is definitely a great family to work with, albeit a little dysfunctional at times.
Cons
Expectation to do more with less. Everyone is doing way more than their job requires. Nobody is afraid to work hard but the volume of work and staffing to accomplish it is not reasonable. Bandwidth is a huge challenge and the goals everyone is expected to attain are not insignificant!
Advice to Senior Management
Don't overwork your employees so much that you lose good talent. Be cognizant and be aware of the 'workers' and don't get stuck in the trap of only managing up. Acknowledgment and recognition of those in the trenches will drive loyalty and a "go-the-extra-mile" attitude. Complacency and revolt will result if the hard work goes unacknowledged.
