    Challenging, yet rewarding.

    EHS (Current Employee)

ProsFlexibility, stability, and plenty of avenues for lateral transfer.

ConsLack of growth opportunity for EHS professionals. Frequent changes in the upper echelons tends to filter confusion on direction to the lower echelons.

Advice to Senior ManagementStay on target and focus on the basics, don't try to reinvent the wheel.

    Good company, Tough transition

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsRoom for upward growth if you are a high performer with a solid manager. A lot of the upward growth is determined by your manager and who you impress.

ConsCompany is going through an extremely difficult transition period. Tough hours, a lot of confusion for probably the next year.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep trying to promote the right people, and look internally for promotions.

Totally top down and you better not question anything or you'll be pushed out.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) La Crosse, WI

ProsIndividual people very good to work with. Pay decent.

ConsManagement does not allow any questioning. La Crosse is poorly run and inflexible. Working atmosphere for salaried people is one of fear. Layoffs every few weeks so no one knows whether they will have a job the next day. Constant reorganization. Company no longer uses data to make decisions. It's all done by how they feel it should be. .

Advice to Senior ManagementStart using data again for decisions. No more management on the fly.

Too hierarchical and limited growth opportunities

Business Analyst (Current Employee) Davidson, NC

ProsJob stability and security. Some projects can be interesting to work with. People are nice with each other. Work life balance can be a challenge at times, especially around project go-lives, etc Few training opportunities available.

ConsLots of politics, Salary increase not so good. Office culture could be better.

The last seven years have been full of mismanagement.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat people to work with, decent pay for the geographical area.

ConsThe wrong people are in most supervisor and management roles, even at a corporate level.

Advice to Senior ManagementInitiate employee progression programs, there are none for hourly associates. Promote people from within the company, all new engineers and managers come from outside IR.

Poor culture (CYA culture), decent pay, questionable leadership

    Procurement (Former Employee) Indianapolis, IN

ProsGive you opportunities through their rotational program

ConsOnce you roll of program there is no follow up early talent development.

Advice to Senior ManagementIdentify your young talent and do all you can to keep it otherwise they will continue to leave at a high rate and you will have wasted all you developed in them.

    Good place to work.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI had training opportunities that I wouldn't have otherwise had. Flexibility to work from home and good direct supervisors and co-workers.

ConsAlways an atmosphere of "who will be gone next" permeating the organization. It was hard to focus on doing your job sometimes when I was taking on more work from people that weren't there anymore.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
