Hell or Heaven, deppend a lot on which team you are...

    Research Engineer (Current Employee)
    Sophia Antipolis (France)

ProsReleaxed research environment, with a lot of possibilities to learn new things, almost every week there are seminars and workshops arround.

ConsPeople really don't care for you or your future, as it is a research institute and PhDs and Post-docs came and go, the fixed researchers, in genneral, don't care for your future carreer, and to become a researcher deppneds MUCH more on your contacts than your skills.
