Current Employee – been working at Insight Global
Pros – Insight global takes tremendous pride in their work and the services they provide. In particular I have worked very closely with Kyle Arriola. I cannot even begin to describe the level of commitment and professionalism Kyle has displayed. In a market full of fly-by-night agencies, Insight Global has without a doubt, distinguished themselves as a leader in professional staffing services.
Cons – I have not experienced any real cons.
Advice to Senior Management – Your employees are tremendous, in particular Kyle Arriola.

Current Employee – been working at Insight Global full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – “I started my career with Insight Global about 5 years ago, and I have loved every minute of it. This is a big company with a small company atmosphere. Each office is very close and the camaraderie between the employees makes work fun.
Not only that, but Insight Global is a completely "organic" company. Everyone above you has done your job and understands how to help when needed. Insight does hire recent college graduates and has a great mentorship program to insure success.
Cons – You have to put in the time. We work with people on a daily basis which can result in a very stressful atmosphere. You need to be able to handle rejection, deal with challenges and have the whatever it takes mentality.

Current Employee – been working at Insight Global full-time for less than a year
Pros – Got me a job. (Ya) =?D
Insight does a good job of using recruiters who are very pleasant in conversation and kind on the eyes to help secure you in a job.. (I'll let you decide if that's a pro or a con).
Cons – When asked your minimum salary, expect that this will be your salary. I was asked what my bare minimum acceptable pay would be, and magically that's what the pay was for the job that accepted me. Shortly there after I found out that many of my fellow employes, who were far less qualified, were making a good bit more money... Not too pleased.
Advice to Senior Management – You might have happier placed temps (and thus greater recurring payments) if you didn't cut their pay down to their bare minimum acceptable levels. Even 3%-5% above their minimum expectations, would help keep them placed...

Current Employee – been working at Insight Global full-time for less than a year
Pros – If you're right out of college and have a fun, energetic, and sociable personality you will love the working environment! Its a great company culture and it makes work seem like you're just hanging out with friends.
Cons – As much as they talk up the recruiter role (the account manager in training) its essentially a call center. You call about 80 IT people a day, most of who don't want to hear from you. You screen these candidates for the IT position you're trying to fill which is usually something you won't have a clue about. Words like PHP, C#, Javascript, etc will be coming out of your mouth and you won't even know what you're saying.
It's all a numbers game since it's sales so if you don't hit so many phone calls, recruits, interviews, and positions filled in a week, you'll be there late nights and Saturday.
Advice to Senior Management – As much as I disliked my role at Insight Global, I think what the company is doing, is working. Sales is not for everyone. You have to have thick skin and not mind bothering people.

Current Employee – been working at Insight Global full-time for less than a year
Pros – Perks:
• Free lunch once a week
• Happy hours
• Fun environment
• Fast passed
• Growth and success potential
• Work hard play hard
Cons – • Not very hands on training more learn it on your own as you go.
• Lacking with help in growth development
• As a recruiter not good pay for as many hours you put in
• Turnover rate
Advice to Senior Management – Sometime it seems like there is too much on the plate that management can handle, either have more management to be able to be able to handle all the work or step back slow down and focus on recruiters and their growth development. Try a different training technique, spend more time training recruiter in order for recruiters to me more satisfied as well as be more successful with this I believe turnover rate would decrease.
