I have been working at InsynQ full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Cutting Edge Ideas, Highly Values Employee Input, Dedicated Engineering and Support Staff. Sales Team that not only sells, but checks in on the client to be sure we are meeting expectations. Promotes employees based on performance. Collaboration is considered a mainstay.

    Cons

Managing internal customer expectations could use a focused eye upon it.

    Advice to Management

Don't sweat the small stuff, focus one what makes the most sense for the most people, internal and external alike.

I worked at InsynQ full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some great opportunities to learn about cloud technology Most employees are very friendly, and helpful You'll learn about accounting software Flexible hours This experience will open new doors

    Cons

    - There is an engineer here who, in my eyes, is a bad apple. Runs the department like a dictator, and has no regard for how his means of poor communication and aggressive behaviors impact those around him. - The environment I worked in started out relatively well, but said engineer was moved into a position of management, and began micromanaging every aspect of the department to the point that the job was no longer remotely enjoyable - I was sexually harassed while working here by a manager - The customers are incredibly difficult to work with. Because there are no standard procedures in place for handling different requests customers have learned to just yell at you, and refuse to get off the phone until they get what they want no matter how polite you are. - The pay, and health benefits are a joke compared to the rest of the industry, and they don't cover the cost of commuting across the Tacoma Toll Bridge. - All that this job is good for is getting experience so that you can move on as fast as possible. Working here opened a door to a job that pays twice as much.

    Advice to Management

I know that this bad apple gives you hours and hours of his time above and beyond what most employees do, and that he's a very brilliant individual, but consider restructuring who is in charge. One brilliant employee that makes everyone else uncomfortable, and spoils the company culture is not worth it. Consider paying industry standard to your technical support department. You should be paying the support people at least $15.00 an hour to start(and that's even stretching it). Your so called "bonus" only pushes the pay to around $13.50 after all is said and done. - Consider covering the ENTIRE cost of health insurance. Your health insurance policy is not very good in the first place, and then you ask the employees to pay $60.00 on top of that. - Foster a work environment that is positive, and encourages learning and development instead of having a person in charge who shames others for not "being on his level".

    Pros

I can't think of any thing positive.

    Cons

Nepotism, lack of respect for employees, nepotism, lack of professionalism, no honesty to employees or clients, did I say nepotism.

    Advice to Management

Sell the company. You don't have the skills necessary to manage a comapany. It's not a frat house that mentality doesn't belong in the corporate world.

    Pros

    - Rapidly growing tech company with an incredibly high ceiling. - Great mix of people, friendly environment. - Provide employees the opportunity to learn while they work which allows for personal growth, ultimately encouraging business growth as a result. - Flexible and understanding management which not only allows but insists on providing things like sick-leave/vacation time to take care of self and family. - Encourages a positive environment and health of all employees. Want to go for a walk at lunch? Great, head to the waterfront a half-block away and take your time... etc. Makes it much easier to get work done. - They listen to your ideas on how to encourage growth... no matter how new you are.

    Pros

CEO is looking to the future and planning for massive growth and expansion. Co-workers are great to work with and employees are encouraged to think for themselves when it comes to problem solving.

    Cons

Business is located in a building that was not designed to handle a growing tech company.

    Advice to Management

Current plans to implement new technology will lead to a more productive and scalable business.

    Cons

Too much growth can sometimes lead to projects not being completed on schedule.
