I have been working at Integer Group full-time

    Pros

Feel well taken care of here. Family is important and when the need arises, there is never an issue of me putting my family first.
Rarely need to work excessively long hours.
    Positive work environment.
    Fun activities and events.
    Team building exercises.
    Company functions.
    Competitive pay.
Not downtown so no parking or commuting headaches.

    Cons

Specialize in shopper marketing, which can be a little ho-hum on the excitement scale if you're used to traditional ad work.
Mediocre insurance that is very expensive. They don't cover much.
    Closed off, cube-farm.
Not a lot of opportunity to work with people from other teams, departments.

I have been working at Integer Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great parties, some fun coworkers, great vacation at the holidays and excellent support staff. You also get to work on some really great accounts.

    Cons

Senior management is incompetent. Most of them are on the older side and have been there forever which means they can play favorites. Very old school "boys club" atmosphere (including the women) in senior leadership and especially on beer accounts. Terrible internal communication. Nobody knows anything until it has already happened. Zero transparency.
Can also feel like a frat house at times. Which makes it hard for some employees to work when there is so much drinking going on during Friday afternoons. Very lenient HR policies. Not much of a chance to be creative.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Step it up. You have great employees and great clients but all of your long-term people are starting to leave. Aren't you wondering why?

I worked at Integer Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    College-like atmosphere
    annual/monthly parties and fundraisers
    employees become lifers
    open door policy
autonomous work schedule, although some take advantage (ie. are never available)

    Cons

    Many to list...

    departments work in silos
only upper management sees any growth
unnecessary meetings prohibit work from getting accomplished
many employees are more focused on personal matters on the job and mgmt turns a blind eye
    raises are a joke
    pay is average/below average

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote from within rather than hiring new. Listen to your employees.

I have been working at Integer Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great place to start a career in marketing/advertising and to learn the process while working with some of the world's biggest brands. The people at the mid to lower levels are amazing to work with and make coming to work everyday worth it. Integer has great on-the-job training available. Company events are fun and frequent. The work-life balance is good, especially for an ad agency. If you're looking to start your career in advertising in Denver, Integer is a good place to start.

    Cons

In recent years, business growth has been very slow meaning a lack or promotions and raises for lower-level employees. Senior management is extremely top heavy, with new VPs added all the time, even during times of slow business growth. Due to the nature of the business, retail marketing, unique creative opportunities are limited and most work follows per-established templates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's time to stop creating VP positions and time to start hiring more people to do the work. Work is slowing down and quality of ideas is suffering due to lack of people getting the day-to-day work done. Managers need to spend more time getting to know their employees and a better job addressing, or at least listening to concerns.

I worked at Integer Group full-time

    Pros

A great place to work. The people there are so amazing and awesome. They really really look out for one another. Company functions are good too.

    Cons

The pay there is NOT the industry standard. They firmly believe the experience of working there outweighs the pay. There really are limited areas of growth at the agency.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus less on the culture and more on the pay side of things. Create growth and listen to other departments. Take the criticisms seriously.

I have been working at Integer Group full-time

    Pros

Some really wonderful people. Fun parties. Generous time-off schedule. We get really great talent here. They just need to work harder at retaining it.

    Cons

Senior management is VERY top-heavy and has become out of touch with the worker bees in the past few years. Morale is at an all-time low.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees and you might figure out why they're leaving in droves and be able to stop it.
