I have been working at Integra LifeSciences full-time

    Pros

Integra is at a true inflection point, transitioning from a scrappy small company to one focused on achieving the scale that is required for long-term success. A new senior management team is bringing vision, better communication, and significant investments in new infrastructure and processes. All of this creates opportunity. It's an exciting time to be working here!

    Cons

Compensation is low. Expectations are high. Like many companies, there are not enough people to do what's required. Successful employees are able to clearly communicate what is and isn't possible. Unsuccessful employees try to do it all and burn out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You get what you pay for. We can't afford high turnover. Fix the comp issue, set expectations with the street that this is required and will have an impact on earnings, and keep communicating to employees that you're aware of our shortcomings and are working to address them.

I have been working at Integra LifeSciences full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Competitive salary, bagels on pay days

    Cons

Absolutely no training!! You have to literally beg people for their time and when you finally get it the training is minimal at best - you are left to your own devices to figure things out and when things go sideways you are the first person to be blamed! There are no training manuals to refer to and there is a lack of cooperation on a daily basis. I was flown back to corporate HQ for training and it took AR over 2 months to reimburse my expenses!! Often times issues go unattended for weeks at a time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Incorporate a company wide training program!! Give your new employees a training manual and resources in able to do their job effectively.

High expectations with marginal rewards, Management completely out of touch with reality.

I worked at Integra LifeSciences full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Peers were great to work with.

    Cons

Management completely out of touch with reality, weekly meetings with upper management were hysterical, peers would joke about what we were told during these meetings as compared to the reality of what we had to work with.
There was absolutely no faith that management knew what they were talking about or what direction we were given by them.
The company fails to learn by their mistakes, front line employees know all about the disasters we are headed into, but management ignores the facts and continues to forge forward on this mis-information.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try and get in touch with reality, Truly listen to your employees.

I have been working at Integra LifeSciences full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1) Company is moving in a positive way by letting many learn new ways of machining.
    2) Day Shift Management works very well with employees
    3) Company is moving ahead from its past and starting to offer better compensation & benefits. (still lacking a little but way better then it has ever been.)
    4) Great work place if looking to learn the field
    5) Offers one of the best vocation and Holiday packages

    Cons

    1) Still offering raises below cost of living on average most people get 1.5% raise.
    2) Help Company morale, a little bit goes a long way. Since I started here we have lost everything besides a dinner.
    3) Too many chiefs for the little amount of indians

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Since the new CEO has taken over the company is trying to move in the future. But you have to understand minimum wage is going up faster then my own wages and I'm losing buying power every year. Please reconsider these below par increases and offer something that keeps up with cost of living.

    Pros

They have some good people, but not enough of them to keep you motivated, particularly in the senior management team

    Cons

There are many horrible managers who are not qualified to manage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To CEO - It's time to clean house and bring in your own management team who you can trust, who are competent, who can be leaders and who are professional.
