    Pros

Flexible company, I was given the opportunity to live in one city and work from there.

    Cons

Pay Raises where few and minimal.

  2. Good advancement opportunities

    Pros

Great opportunities for advancement, ability to learn new skills, good coworker teamwork vibe, benefits package is satisfactory, great training programs, ongoing technical education.

    Cons

I did miss the environment from the smaller company I worked for before being acquired by Integra. The benefits were better back when I first got in the industry, but that's probably more a sign of the times in general.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to ideas from the front lines.

    Pros

Decent salary and benefits, competitive within the marketplace. The front-line workers are dedicated to provide the best product and services.

    Cons

Lack of communication between departments resulted in missed in-service dates and outages, this occurs too frequently. Poor leadership from mid to senior managers, very diverse styles of management, no true direction. Concern for employees is dismal with respect to work load and legitimate suggestions for improvement.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and let them do the jobs they were hired/trained for, not micro-managed.

    Pros

Couldn't find any pro's and believe me I tried.

    Cons

Tried to hood wink me into working there. After talking with several employees this is what they said (most are looking for another job outside the company, believe company is going under will go bankrupt soon, and said turnover rate is really high). So glad I turned down the job and went somewhere else. Plus they said no bonus or raise this past year. Pay sucks.

    Advice to Management

You need to hire some managers who know how to interview.

    Cons

lack of leadership. lack of training. lack of focus. lack of direction. provisioning unable to turn up customers in a short amount of time. customer service is below standards.

    Advice to Management

sell the company as soon as possible. stop trying to be something you are not.

    Pros

The internal IT management team is mostly sensible. The end users rule.. 90% of them are smarter than the average bear.

    Cons

Tons of work (expect to be busy and love it) poop-tacular budget (can't do the work you're asked to do because it's not on the list.) Lots of home-grown stuff that isn't supported proactively

    Advice to Management

We have to punt if you tell us we can't have the money you said we could have last quarter. IT is infrastructure, to be sure, but it's also integral to keeping a business functioning. Just because we're not a cost center doesn't mean that we don't contribute. Every single thing we fix shortens hours for revenue centers.

    Pros

Good salary and an aggressive commission structure. Excellent product portfolio and quality services. A good company with a lot of potential.

    Cons

Always in flux. In 9 months the office I was located in started with over 40 reps and when I got laid off they dropped down to 10 sales reps. Nearly all of the reps laid off had been hired within the past year and a half. Saw multiple executives fired and multiple corporate initiatives start and fail in a time frame of less than one year being employed there. They hired two new sales teams in the SLC office just to lay them and one other team all off about a year later.

    Advice to Management

Create some stability so that your sales reps have a foothold to run from and they will make you successful.
