    silicon desert gem

ProsThis is a great place for people who like a fast paced tech environment and like to be constantly challenged. The company is in a super-hot tech space (cloud-based marketing systems) so is constantly evolving -- work is never boring, especially because there is a real mission here. Great institutional investors back the company and they've invested in the executive team. Benefits are excellent -- the company covers all your health insurance premium for a basic plan and then you can buy up to a better plan if you want, plus there a is real culture around health and wellness -- they support several perks that you might only find in Silicon Valley. And they don't require you to "earn" vacation days over time, they have what's called an "unlimited paid time off" program so you just work out your time off with your manager.

ConsThe company's been through a lot of change and in marketing tech, it is just part of work life -- not a great place if you simply want to do the same thing every day or don't expect or want to be pushed.

    Just the worst...

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGood health insurance, free food, nice modern office in old town scottsdale

ConsVery cliquish, fratty environment. The training mainly focused on the sales team and then you are thrown into a sink or swim environment that forces you to be extremely cut throat and seek out more publishers to work with than the person sitting at the desk next to you. When I got hired they were going through a growth period due to some investor funding they had just received. A few months later they discovered they had grown faster than their profits could handle and started going through mass layoffs.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't grow until the company is actually ready for that growth.

    all over just "ok"

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosfun co-workers and office culture. hr is awesome when it comes to planning events for the office.

Consstill very obviously a start-up that is trying to take off. even when there are obvious issues with the way things are being done, it is nearly impossible to convince upper management to consider a better solution.

Advice to Senior Managementlisten more. your employees are the ones that speak with the customers directly so they know where the issues are.

Young company striving to attain high levels of growth

Product Specialist (Former Employee) Scottsdale, AZ

ProsGreat place to gain experience in the performance marketing and affiliate space. Great co-working culture.

ConsUpper management doesn't support individual growth. Low salaries.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat your employees with respect and help them take on leadership and mentorship roles.

Learn fast and work hard or you will fail and get fired

Media Buyer (Former Employee) Scottsdale, AZ

ProsPretty much let you run your own book of business and you can make a lot of money if you are good. Don't accept a position here unless you are really ready to take on your career. Lots of potential in this amazing industry if you're ready to work for it.

ConsHigh turnover, politics, don't pay commissions until they get paid, which is sometimes net60 or much longer

Advice to Senior ManagementHart is totally crazy ... Just saying, but if you make him a lot of money or want to work out with him he will like you plenty. Jeremy is really good at making connections but sometimes a little too disconnected to help.

    Conflicted current worker

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Scottsdale, AZ

ProsMassive potential for experience in literally every area of online marketing. They give beginners plenty of chances and don't unduly punish mistakes. Great resume builder. Gym membership, 401k, in-house breakfast and lunch. Co-workers are generally friendly, and individual people are extremely competent at their jobs. Individuals are willing to listen, but unfortunately lack the power to change things.

The CEO will know your name, and he will sometimes take an interest in your life (and improving it). This can be a good or bad thing, depending on if you like him. He's definitely an interesting guy to work for, at the very least.

ConsBro-club, frat atmosphere. Terrible C-level management (that is slowly improving). People with truly awful personalities and management styles have disproportionate pull. Company has a lack of direction, constantly changing objectives (other than revenue/profit), awful training programs, and the CEO tends to do a lot of his own thing or ignore advice that conflicts with his idea of how a company is run. Good luck getting your opinion heard if you're a woman or can't talk sports. Revolving-door on the development team. A lot of 'favorites' getting special treatment. A lot of people not getting the compensation they have grown to be worth leaving the company out of frustration.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop disproportionately rewarding blow-hards and start investing in some of the quiet hard workers that have helped to build the company. Probably too late now though, most of them quit, but you might hang on to a few.

    Positive

Account Executive (Current Employee) Scottsdale, AZ

ProsIntegrate is a high growth company that has implemented a great culture. It's full of energetic, innovative, forward-thinking, positive individuals. The growth over the past few years is truly amazing.

ConsSometimes there is a lack of direction from management, but that is to be expected in a high growth startup.

Advice to Senior ManagementBring in a few more mid-managers.

One of the worst jobs I ever had

Product Specialist (Former Employee) Scottsdale, AZ

    Prosfully stocked kitchen, attractive/friendly co-workers

ConsTypical sales job which they do not clarify the job responsibilities in the interview. Basically a micro managed call center where you have to be on the phone X amount of minutes each day, talk to X amount of people and its never enough. I felt like I was walking on egg shells every day and I didn't know if that day would be my last. Frat like work culture. Also, their training class is a joke.

Advice to Senior ManagementAs another reviewer mentioned, stop focusing on the profits that aren't there. Its understandable to set expectations, but there is a fine line between expectations and "do this or else". Miserable work environment.
