I have been working at Integrated Asset Services

    Pros

Decent location and cubes w/ low walls to encourage teamwork

    Cons

Low pay, long hours and now closed

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to value your staff. Your turnover rate should've been a big clue to the lack of culture

    Pros

Great team of people, nice office building and location.

    Cons

Financial issues from the moment I walked in the door. Underfunded projects; high expectations with limited resources. Outdated and sub par technology. Bad debt - Agents from around the country calling to harass anyone they can get connected with on a daily bases for payment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. They went out of business less than a year after hiring me.

    Pros

When I was at IAS, we had a great team that really enjoyed working there and working together.

    Cons

Hard to get answers from upper management. When you do, they are often overly optimistic or even flat-out untrue. If you are still there, I recommend bailing ASAP.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to level with your employees and keep them posted - if it's not already too late.

I have been working at Integrated Asset Services full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Co-workers and pay were decent.

    Cons

Management makes bad investments that affect the whole structure of business. They hire incompetent people on top. I (All of us) do not understand why there was no communication from upper management when the layoffs started. No severance package. Insurance benefits cut before end of employment.

Before taking an offer from this company please consider the whole review. I suggest not to take it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I believe Paul Sveen should take accountability for all the bad investments made in the company and step down as CEO.

I worked at Integrated Asset Services full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good Location, great co-workers, Clean environment

    Cons

Upper Management, Lay-offs, Low Pay for what we are forced to deal with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care about your employees. After surviving 5 lay-offs in the short amount of time I was there I realized that upper management doesn't care, at all about their employees. Your employees that choose to stay dispite the fact they get harassed, belittled, cursed at, and abused by your vendors all day, are the reason you still have vendors at all. And how do you repay those faithful employees? You lay them off with absolutely no warning. Shame on you! I fully understand this post will mean nothing to the upper management people I am referring to, but to the future employees of IAS, maybe what I have to say will impact your decision on whether or not you accept a position with IAS.

  10.

Company is top heavy as far as compensation

I have been working at Integrated Asset Services

    Pros

Free coffee. Nice office space. Good Desks. Fellow employees are very nice.

    Cons

Coffee is gross. Office space appears nice, but regularly has smell of raw sewage. When people started feeling ill from the smell, management came and said people can step away from their desks to get fresh air. Then management made note of who left their desks and for how long and counted it against them. Hired on big name Chief Execs with big compensation, followed by lay offs for regular employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lead by example. Don't ask employees to work 9-10 hour days when you only work 5 hour days. Learn what it takes to get day to day problems resolved for clients, then make realistic promises to the clients. Just good business.
