It was a mixed bag; glad to start there, glad to leave.

I worked at Integrated Healthcare Solutions part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Variety of locations, shifts, and facilities.

    Cons

Some people get tired of agency work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be open to listening to agency people's side of the story directly instead of always going through agency intermediaries.

I worked at Integrated Healthcare Solutions full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I honestly cannot think of one! In the year i was with integrated I saw 2 long term (5+ years) fired for petty/non-work performance issues (payroll supervisor left her dirty bowl in the break room sink and was fired!!).

    Cons

NO leadership...the owner, Jeff Kruse, was creepy and didn't make eye contact or speak with employees, switch and bait with clients/candidates was the norm, false promises, terrible salary/commission plan, AWFUL benefits....need i say more?!?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire REAL leaders with industry knowledge.

I have been working at Integrated Healthcare Solutions full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Good training program for new recruiters. Beautiful building in location easily accessible via public transportation. Flexible scheduling and you're able to make up missed hours on the weekend if you're sick.

    Cons

Seemingly poor leadership at the very top of the organization. HR made disparaging comments of former employees. As a women, I am shocked of the HR violations that take place. There was some turnover in the Sr. Management in the last 6 months, and it's been all downhill since. Two Sr. Directors have left the company and have left a huge gap in the quality of leadership and the commitment level. Speaks very poorly and unprofessionally of current and former employees openly. Inexperienced (but very nice) management team that is unable to make changes that make sense. Expensive/poor benefit package, low pay, poor commission plan. If you are offered a position here, I would recommend you turn it down and apply at your local Starbucks instead. You'll get better benefits and the work environment won't be nearly as toxic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Restructure from the very top down and value employees

I have been working at Integrated Healthcare Solutions

    Pros

    Great views of the Willamette
Met some great people working there
    Get paid weekly
    Recognition for getting sales

    Cons

    Poor leadership
Their benefits package is expensive for the salaries they offer
Salaries are entry level, no matter your experience
They have high turnover, only a hand full of employees have been there over a year. That is including the CEOs family members. In the interview process they will tell you that they have a seasoned team, their definition is 6 months.
This job is telemarketing at best, not a staffing company.
Their leads and database are terrible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Buy good leads, increase pay or commissions, split the staff into regions - everyone is fighting for the SW US and there are no leads to call on. Have the managers on the floor and lead by motivation, not by intimidation. There are talented National Recruiters on your team, treat them like it or they will leave. Build a team of Sales and recruiters that support sales like other staffing agencies.
