    Pros

Good joB security wages were great when oil was up

    Cons

hard to move up mostly friends and family of higher ups get immediately placed in positions with no experience that youre working hard to obtain for years

    Advice to Management

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

There aren't any unless you just need to get experience working in the oilfield

    Cons

Location of office terrible, favoritism rampant, no room for advancement, management does not know how to lead

    Advice to Management

Learn how to speak to employees. Learn to be professional. Lead by example. Superior Energy Management needs to stop allowing managers to get away with things just because they are personal friends. Don't ask employees for ideas and act as though you care only to say no we are doing my way. Then don't ask for opinions or recommendations if you are going to revert to your own way, maybe they just want to boost their own ego

    Pros

Good people that work there. Largest player in coil tubing services segment. Multiple locations in strategic basins.

    Cons

HSE improvement needed. Accountability for employees who break company policies needed.

I have been working at Integrated Production Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company hired me out of college during the recession, and for that I am thankful. Fun group of people to work with. This job was a great introduction to the oilfield services industry for me.

    Cons

Complete lack of corporate culture. Small size of company made advancement difficult. The migration of the office from Greenway Plaza to Greenspoint was depressing.

    Advice to Management

IT needs much more support. Capitalize on young talent. Pay your people and they may stick around.

  7. Very poor management, if you party and drink with the upper management you advance. Many promises not kept about salary

I have been working at Integrated Production Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Not many to mention. Get a chance to learn the oilfield industry.

    Cons

Poor management, poor training program, company just laid off 60 percent of work force! Many guys laid off that worked for IPS several years. Marines, locals all laid off. If you partied with management you kept your job. Poor Equipment, company not wanting to spend money to repair or replace broken equipment.

    Advice to Management

Very high turn-over of employees due to poor management....many promises not kept. Need to focus on repairing equipment and building back your reputation. Companies do not want to work with IPS due to equipment always breaking down.

I have been working at Integrated Production Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Upper managers willing to share operations knowledge Travel and education on subject matter Laid back work environment Nice people

    Cons

Lack of professionalism Lack of path of upward movement Severe underpayment

    Advice to Management

If you want to combat the turnover problem that you're having, pay your people. If you're having trouble obtaining the capex needed to pay your people, have the appropriate meeting - the inefficiency caused by turnover is hurting the company culture as well as your bottom line. For a company that appears to be ruled by the HR department, HR does a pretty sub par job.
