Pros
Even though it’s only been two months, I find this internship experience very rewarding and Intel a great place to work for. I would love very much if I could have the opportunity to come back to Intel after my graduation
Cons
working pressure and there are occasions where I do not perceive the need for a creative solution, but one that will instantaneously end the problem at hand. I will make some improvements in order to provide creative solutions whenever necessary.
Advice to Senior Management
there are some certain people in my group who don't do anything...well in a ball part. I just wish the managing director could hire someone who actually qualifies for the job
Pros
Strong career growth opportunity,
Great learning experience,
Great managers and executive managers
Great CEO
Industry leader
Job satisfaction
Talented colleagues
Cons
Low base salary
Low stock price growth
Advice to Senior Management
Stay competitive
Pros
Compressed work week, competitive pay, good benefits, good management, friendly coworkers, lots of advancement opportunities and fast paced work. MT's get great work / life ratio but the same can't be said for engineers, but that's why they make the $$$
Cons
you won't last long if you can't multitask. Can be stressful if you let stressed out engineers get to you.
Advice to Senior Management
Record profits = good bonuses right? does not seem to be the case at Intel
Pros
-Lots of resources
-Working with smart people
-Good benefits
Cons
-Long hours
-Big corporation culture
-Managers are very demanding
Advice to Senior Management
Acknowledge the employees more often.
Pros
Very good if you are a person in highly specialized chip design. They train you very well. You get a great set of people to work with.
Cons
Will be difficult for you to move a more generic chip designer. The work-life balance is not very good and can be overworked.
Advice to Senior Management
Look at other companies to adapt to a changing company lifestyle, the newer companies are better at dealing with the employees.
Pros
Work life balance is great
Cons
Poor Managers. No recognition for good ppl.
Advice to Senior Management
Well, senior management , its time to evaluate your first level managers better or else you are gonna loose good employees in long run.
Pros
Work Life Balance, Flexibility, Bonus, Compensations.
Cons
Slow growth, limited training program, engineering focus, middle management Bureaucracy
Pros
Lots of the things to do. Decent budget to do your work. Can be a good opportunity to carve out your niche
Cons
A lot of the times caught in reactive work rather than strategic work
Pros
Great work life balance, competitive compensation, sabbatical every seven years you get to work on the cutting edge of microprocessor technology.
Cons
Very limited growth opportunity, there is a lot of bureaucracy, lots of middle managers who have been around for a long time and have no clue what's going on.
Advice to Senior Management
Look at your bloated middle and first and second line managers, most of them are just paper pushers and get rid of them.
Pros
quarterly events was very good for team building
Cons
no downsides, internship was great learning experience
Advice to Senior Management
