Strong Financial position and market leader in semiconductors. This is a tech person's mecca, you will be rewarded for your technical abilities. If they are strong you will prosper and have the ability to do as much as you can handle!
Cons
Becoming beaurocratic with leaders who do not understand how to manage people, lead or inspire innovation in software. Cowboy development mentality prevails and lack of accountability enable poor performance by organizations. Like any company be careful where you go as organizational politics and discfunctional work environments can limit your ability to contribute.
Advice to Senior Management
Start looking for thought leaders in software who understand how to lead and manage a very human process that is software development. Software is not silicon!
