    I worked at Intel Corporation

    Pros

Ergonomics, work with some talented, good and customer oriented coworkers, learning oportunities , delicious free coffee, additional health ensurance, good values and culture. Thank you Intel !!!

    Cons

Several not skilled managers, not people oriented only with its circle of friends, it is a shame but it is true. More often, honest ,dedicated employees , are leaving this company because the toxic environment and overloaded duties.

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Training, personal career development (but you OWN this entirely), diverse opportunities, VERY fast paced environment. Compensation outside of base pay is great. Many crazy smart people to work with.

    Cons

Work/life can suffer due to heavy focus on very demanding expectations. Lack of active mentoring for junior employees or those struggling. Base pay is tied to "industry average" instead of meritocracy. Work place competition can border on predatory.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Return to "back-to-basics" and fostering more active mentoring of junior employees.

I have been working at Intel Corporation

    Pros

    great pay, fun outside events

    Cons

no bonus for contract workers who are treated like second class citizens, crappy corporate culture, no hope of permanent hire. Abuse of contract workers to avoid hiring staff positions. Constant reorganization of departments under the guise of accomplishments and goal setting. Promotion of senior managers at the expense of staff who are expected to do the job of 3.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need staff to obtain the objectives you expect your employees to meet. you have people doing the work of 3 in some positions. Pretending the use of GBs is "educating" a vast labor pool is simply saying "we won't hire anyone."
