    Pros

    - Good work life balance
    - Opportunity to seek jobs across many different disciplines in manufacturing, and product related fields.
    - Lots of processes, and systems facilitate decision making in legacy business
    - current CEO is making the right noises in public, and is following up with some decisions that

    Cons

    - slow moving company.
    - too many decisions makers when trying to launch new products/services/internal tools etc slow things down
    - poor and ineffective managers are not moved out quickly enough
    - compensation is not great in comparison to the market

    Advice to Management

    - lean the management structure
    - empower people to make decisions at lower levels
    - make the hard and tough decisions about portions of the businesses that need to be sold of.

    Lot of interesting work but lot of bureaucracy. Good life work balance.

    Cons

    Less commitment by higher management. Slow pace. Not sure where to go.

    Pros

    Intel has great benefits, bonuses, and a sabbatical every 7 years!

    Cons

    The repeated layoffs cause an enormous amount of churn in the workplace.

    Respect your employees and take care of them, and they will take care of you.

    - a lot of smart and talented people work here
    - company is focused on innovation and the future
    - more designers are being hired
    - diversity is a priority

    - projects are understaffed
    - project timelines can be unrealistic or too accelerated
    - time zones can be a challenge when working at a global company

    I would like management fully support and champion design. I would like them to greenlight more design-led projects/programs.

    Pros

    Great company with opportunities to do meaningful work. You get a chance to expand your scope to the ends of your personal limits. Intel provides you with not just one opportunity but several different opportunities to express and develop yourself as much as you are able to handle.

    Great people, great technology and a great brand on the resume

    super conservative, because of that a lot of innovation on the marketing side suffers... usual company politics driven by cliques

    need to completely revitalize the Brand- that Staples guy aint doing much
