    Pros

On the good days, this is an awesome place to work. Very lean, knowledgeable workforce, reasonable pay, reasonable benefits. Great people. Very down home southern feel to it. I feel like I make a difference.

    Cons

The politics can be challenging at times. Getting better recently, but still the typical good-old boy network. Too much finger pointing at the cost of productivity. Too much emphasis on trying to shoe-horn in canned solutions vs. creativity.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people more. Certain management tend to lead by scare tactics and threats. That simply needs to stop. You employ professional people. Let them flex their noggins some.

    Pros

Things are fast paced and the clientele are amazing people for which tho do business.

    Cons

Management doesn't seem to understand the duties of their operators. Honestly, they are lazy and don't care about their employees. InterCall claims to have Global consistency, yet the facilities within Georgia aren't even consistent. There is very little room for growth within the company.

    Advice to Management

Learn the ins and outs of the companies for which you do business. After managing the same team for 10 years, you should have knowledge of the clientele. Treat everyone the same and quit picking favorites. A manager should never let something "slide" with one employee because they like them and write up another employee for doing the same thing. When there are multiple lines holding to get into a conference and staffing is limited, please put on a headset and help the operators. There are few members of management who actually do this. If the Senior Director can come out of his office and help pick up, why can't the rest of management. Laziness. The operators can easily get overwhelmed at the call volume and rely on management to assist instead of being on Facebook, Amazon or doing their Christmas shopping at their computers.

    Pros

Industry leading UCC technologies that have true relevance in todays market place.
Intercall makes strategic moves by integrating their conferencing platform with other leading UCC technologies with companies like Microsoft, Cisco, BlueJeans. ?. Etc Some really forward thinking individuals to work with. Decent internal global collaboration among product and sales teams.

    Cons

The company culture would greatly benefit by hiring experienced professionals as a whole.
And stop putting entry level college grads in roles that are responsible for very technical IT relationships. Its not fair to the account rep, the company or the client. Ramp up these bright individuals before putting them in technical driver seats. This will lower attrition at the very least.

    Advice to Management

Put great consideration into the above "con"!

    Pros

The hours offered are pretty good.

    Cons

pay is stagnant and unreasonable for expectations and opportunity for advancement is extremely low, no integrity

    Advice to Management

Have some integrity. Don't promise something and not deliver particularly when it comes to compensation. Almost runs like a good ole boy network. The people who have been there long enough to get management do not actually know how to manage or relate employees

    Pros

Growing company, expanding into new areas that should extend the shelf life of this company. New company acquisitions aren't integrated well so those folks get a few years before the InterCall culture takes hold.

    Cons

Inability of management to lead, by example or good judgement. Lack of seasoned leaders in the executive team trickles down through the ranks creating a horrible atmosphere, where bullying is openly prevalent, including vendor intimidation. Lower level employees feel the affects but are left paralyzed and therefore keep hoping for leadership change.

    Advice to Management

Take a chance and build a happier company throughout the ranks, removing some "leaders" will give some divisions a huge bump that will in turn help you keep your jobs longer.

    -Customer Care skills are sharpened
    -Give aways during busy seasons
    -Business driven

    Cons

-Learned the art of manipulation and deceit
-Management purposely create animosity among staff
-Over worked and extremely under paid

    Advice to Management

More training on how to be a effective manager; workers are no greater the leader. If the leadership is Inadequate so will the workers.

    Pros

Very flexible telecommuting opportunities. From a lifestyle perspective, InterCall is very flexible with you working from almost anywhere at anytime. They almost have to be based on the type of product they sell or they would be hypocrites.

    Cons

This is a sales department run organization, thus it is highly fragmented with too many one-off constraints that hurt their ability to adapt and move with the technology. Sooner or later their competitors will catch and surpass them.

    Advice to Management

None, they need to all be removed. The level of incompetence, lack of communication, and constant redirection of resources will continue to cause top talent to leave. The attrition is strictly their fault.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    - Good place if you want to just focus on technology and not bothered about career growth, benefits
    - If you want to work in Unified Communications and again just stay technical, it's ok place
    - Better place to work as consultant rather than as employee as management cares more about consultant

    Cons

    - Management lacks execution skills on the vision. it's evident in almost all groups - Product Management, Product Engineering, IT etc
    - No career growth if you are not part of 'IN' circle
    - Work-life balance is missing
    - Management culture is more command-and-control vs collaborative

    Advice to Management

    - Innovation doesn't happen in vaccum, it needs an environment that fosters innovation. Let your actions speak than words.
    - Promote those who understand how to motivate team to achieve greater things and work collaboratively. Just # of years in the company is not a good measure to promote.
