I worked at InterCall full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits and pay are in line with industry standards.
The technology solutions offered are the best in the industry in my opinion.

    Cons

    Incompetent Middle Management
    Detached Executive Management
    Confusing Commission Plan
Support staff is mostly not reliable

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire experienced managers
    Streamline the legal process
Have a clear sense of direction, and understand it takes a year to onboard a sales rep in a new territory.

    Pros

Global leader, have an extensive line of products and either partner with or sell pretty much everything in their market

    Cons

Company is making unnecessary cuts and seems to be making changes without thinking about the consequences. The company lacks what I see to be professionalism, vision, direction and creativity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

What can I say, you all are too busy promoting your friends and ignoring the realities of what is going on around you. One day this company will really need to reevaluate its purpose.

    I worked at InterCall

    Pros

Great product, room for career growth, leader in the industry

    Cons

Not the greatest company culture which is somewhat demotivating. Several HR issues reported but not addressed which is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to employees.

    I worked at InterCall

    Pros

    Robust suite of services.
Like another review mentioned, the only other pros are free parking...desks...phone.

    Cons

    Very little product support
    Micro managers
Inability to hire seasoned personnel. They truly seem to hire people "off the street". I was the only one in my (grueling) training class that had telecom experience.
    Poor benefits. 5 days PTO.
Management should be more concerned about declining revenue, however they don't react when clients are pissed off and threaten to leave. This only leads to losing clients/talented employees.
    Disjointed "team" structure

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to use your own products before conducting a team/company-wide meeting.

I have been working at InterCall full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Team manager very positive and kind, he doesnt treat his team as hoi polloi. Training is informative and a little overwhelming but great crash course in Conferencing options

    Cons

Nobody has ever met or spoken to upper management....basically they dont exist. CEO shows his face every quarter but he will point blank lie to his employees and uses a lot of smoke and mirrors when asked a direct question. This place is a joke. The CEO claims to have compassion when he has no interest in the welfare of the "little people". The CEO and upper management would step over you if you were dying on the sidewalk. I should have taken that job at Wendy's.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get over yourselves.....you dont give a hoot for anybody but yourselves.

I have been working at InterCall full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Not much other than leaving at exactly 5pm

    Cons

    - Success based on what companies are handed to you
    - Promotions dependent on popularity/friendship with upper management
    - Inexperienced management with passive aggressive attitudes that constantly play favorites
    - Compensation plans created with loopholes for reps to be cheated out of their commissions
    - Below average salaries
    - Low morale due to ban on socializing

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't blame reps for your poor performing numbers and take a closer look at the upper management that is running the company into the ground before all of your reps leave.

I have been working at InterCall full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Very stable, continues to build innovative partnerships, no micro managing, benefits, time off, has a great group of people to work with.

    Cons

Management has favorites to move up in the company, base salary is a bit weak, commission structure has become a challenge as it is focused on certain products and areas more than others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop playing the favorites game and raise your base pay to keep employees.
