    Pros

plenty of training, company also allow individuals freedom to be themselves, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere

    Cons

It is hard to get to a day shift or weekends off even after 2 years. Everything is based on seniority and with department hiring internal hires on a regular basis, it seems your ranking never moves up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Alternative ways of assigning schedules should be looked at.

The industry itself is fantastic; my experience working with my current management is less desired. I would recommend working with some locations of IHG but not ALL IHG.

I have been working at InterContinental Hotels Group full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for with great brands and a clear employee brand offering. The leadership at senior levels is very good . I have had amazing development opportunities to this point and grown within the company. Discounted hotel rooms are one great benefit

    Cons

Leadership does not flow through the whole company and there is a bit of a ceiling as you progress through your career, at times it can feel like there is no focus on you as an individual in supporting talented people progress to senior levels

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Understand the people that you have lower down in the organisation and help them progress otherwise you risk loosing talented people whilst you search for external talent.

    Approves of CEO
