    Pros

The guests are enjoyable and friendly when it comes to the guest experience and there is room for a promotion.

    Cons

No benefits, no incentive to love your job and management could at least start by treating you with respect.

    Advice to Management

A high employee turnover rate means you need to change how you treat your employees.

    Pros

IHG has a solid set of core values which drive behavior at every level. Doing the right thing is one value that stood out to me which employees took to heart. That has helped them create great hotels guests love.

    Cons

Perhaps a more comprehensive talent management program at the local level to strengthen pipeline.

    Advice to Management

How you achieve the goal is just as important as the end results. Keep it up!

    Pros

Fantastic employee benefits such as huge discounts on hotel room rates, competitive salary and excellent development opportunities. Culturally, we have a warm and friendly working environment.

    Cons

For me, the only downside is that the HQ where I'm based is not in central London, so it's not great for socialising with colleagues after work.

    Pros

Great organization that is dedicated to employee growth within the company. Flexible working hours and location options across the globe.

    Cons

Pay could be better as well as benefits. What comes with working at a hotel can be difficult, and working hours may not be ideal for everyone,

    Pros

Work Alone. Easy job. You get to speak to new people daily. Great employees to work with.

    Cons

Work Alone. Gets boring at times when there's no one to talk to. Base pay is to low to support my family.

    Advice to Management

    Pay more.

    Pros

Awesome work/ life balance as well as awesome traveling perks. IHG motto seems to be "Relax it will be there tomorrow"!

    Cons

Job titles tend to mean everything at IHG and executives do not seem to recognize strong talent until it walks right out the door.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to really get to know your employees on a more personal level, truly understand and listen to their goals. Also, let your actions speak louder then your emails and stop the political cattiness.

    Pros

It has a good system for information distribution. Good management system. Standard Guidelines for each job.

    Cons

Too cold with employees. It is a money making machine. Does not care about keeping management educated if you work out of the operational departments.

    Advice to Management

Should be aware about other areas other than operational. There are a lot of things to learn day by day in accounting and information systems
