I worked at InterContinental Hotels full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Its a warm place where everyone is willing to be everyone's friend. Hospitality instills that in the employees. Not for the quiet, loner sorts. Strong on culture and values in making people happy, offering great hotels guests love.

    Cons

Company might be a little behind in terms of processes and technology. Progression and movements also come about more if you are in management sights more.

The work is rewarding if you can handle the pace. It moves very quickly and there is little time to celebrate successes.

I worked at InterContinental Hotels full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The leadership is one of the best I've ever worked for. The office culture is one that foster a team spirit that makes you aware that you aren't in it alone. Teamwork is important.

    Cons

Having a work/life balance is tough in this environment. There is always a feeling that you must be connected to the office. It is hard to truly get away. The benefits are good but are not impossible to walk away from.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue pushing the envelope and innovating. But do so with the employees in mind to ensure they don't get burned out. It's probably not best to have 20+ priorities in a year.
