I have been working at InterFysio as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Enhances experience in all setting Acute care, sub acute care, out patient, adult day cares and school.
This actually Helps enhance your knowledge and Experience, increasing your demand in the Health care field as a most desirable Practising Therapist in your field(PT/OT/SLP).
They also consider giving promotion if you do your best in an year.
CEO and directors are very passionate about their job which in reflected by numerous assignments given .
Uptodate with current immigration applications &process and you always get paid on time.

    Cons

Need to travel far for some assignments , could be very exhausting. Difficult to manage life-balance with changing assignments , I have worked with them for a year now and am still struggling to get an ongoing assignment making it fatiguing and you dont make long term connections with Colleagues and staff members .
Find difficult to approach & communicate and put forth your queries/trouble as Staff is too busy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to reflect more on employees good work and communicate with employees to share work issues . Also need to consider on compensation and benefits , the Hard work we put in would be much appreciated then and keep us motivated to only expand the company's Name and bring more to it!

    Pros

    Dependable with immigration paperwork.
Direct and open communication with the owners of the company.
    Provides allowance for CEUs.
Provides you exposure to wide variety of settings in the practice - pediatrics (private and public schools, sensory gyms and home care), geriatrics (home care, adult care centers and nursing homes), and orthopedics (hospital and outpatient clinics). My CV's work experience is extensive because of them which assisted me later on in landing a full time job of my liking.
Good in paying their therapists on time.
Reasonable benefits compared to other staffing agencies.

    Cons

Travel between assignments can sometimes be a hassle. Doable but not easy during winter months.

I have been working at InterFysio as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

    Open communication with CEOs
    Variety of Settings
    Immigration Lawyer

I'm currently in the 5th month of a 3 year contract with InterFysio. So far I've had a bit of a mixed experience, which accounts for the 3/5 rating. To be fair, the CEOs work through issues quickly and do what they can to resolve issues fairly. I have high hopes for my employment with the company and I would hope that, with more consistent placements, my rating would be higher within a couple of months.

    Cons

    Slow summer hours
    Long commutes at time
    No Family Healthcare Plan

I think I came in to the company at an awkward period. My summer hours were very low, but the fall is promising. If they can find me more consistent work I would happily rate the company higher.

I have been working at InterFysio full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Knowledgeable and experienced in immigration matters -- to those eligible, will process GC the best way possible
Fulfilled terms of contract -- CEUs allowances, Initial Housing Assistance, Paid Leaves
Good communication throughout -- management easy to reach
Supportive -- will hear out and work with staff PTs with regards to ideal (or less ideal) placements

    Cons

Homecare Cases -- not really a 'con', but travelling around NYC with facility assignments to add may be good for the adventurous, may be tiring to some

Pediatrics -- not my forte, but somehow now in my 'tools' due to placement. If you're willing to learn, would be a 'pro', but for the 'seasoned', read pro # 4. The market demands in NYC will definitely get you working in this specialty (amidst choice)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider expanding to acute care, hospital placements.

    Good company

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at InterFysio full-time

    Pros

They file H1B visa on time and all paperwork is handled well. I have been placed in good assignments (client sites) and mostly they were stable.

    Cons

Pay is stagnant for a long period of time. Commute is long to certain client locations and it would not be counted in work hours. Company policies change in their favor.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider taking care of and listening to employees.
