Zombieland (if zombies can show misery)

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Interface

ProsA steady paycheck. Decent benefits. The location is conveniently located in the Scottsdale Airpark. For most positions you don't have to worry (too much) about being replaced.

ConsNo positive reinforcement...ever. Mismanaged. No one is happy in their work at Interface except for possibly some of the engineers. Engineering, as a department, is better organized and run than any other department and the only ones to get recognized for doing good work.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagers need to be able to start running their own teams and not get infiltrated and blocked at every turn by the President.

Hated working for this company

IT Employee (Former Employee)
Lagrange, GA

I worked at Interface full-time for more than 3 years

ProsSome people are nice. I can't think of anything that's really positive about this company. It's just a horrible place to work.

ConsMy #1 problem with this company is the management is beyond horrible... extramarital affairs with their secretary (and everyone knows what's going on), ex-convict, or they just don't know what they're talking about. And they spend millions of $$$$$ on technology they can't implement or understand themselves and then skip out on giving bonuses when it comes time for that. #2, this company has no talent. If you're still there and haven't left, what does that say about you?

Advice to Senior ManagementEnjoy it while it lasts.

Good company, lots of long term employees

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Lagrange, GA

I worked at Interface full-time for more than 5 years

ProsClose group of employees, family environment, good benefits and pay scale.

ConsLayoffs are not uncommon and they don't offer those cut other positions, just let them go and encourage them to reapply for other openings.

Advice to Senior ManagementStronger accountability for employees. Often those causing issues are given second, third or more chances.

If you are Indian you will do well here

Analyst (Current Employee)
Lagrange, GA

I have been working at Interface full-time for less than a year

ProsWe get paid a day or so early

ConsToo much work. Too much management. New management has no clue. Interface spends too much money on things they don't need. So much waste. All my friends are gone. They got laid off or quit.

Advice to Senior ManagementFire everyone and anyone having anything to do with IT from top to bottom.
