Pros
TRAINING WAS GOOD. IBC SPENT MONEY AND TIME TO TRAIN. ALSO, ONE CAN MAKE GOOD FRIENDS WORKING THERE. IT USUALLY IS ONE'S FIRST REAL JOB OUT OF COLLEGE SO ONE CAN MAKE FRIENDS QUICKLY THERE WITH THE OTHER COLLEGE GRADS.
Cons
BAD SALARY. PAY IS BAD. USUALLY, ONCE ONE IS TRAINED THEY MOVE ON TO HIGHER PAYING GIGS. THIS BANK IS NOTORIOUS FOR PAYING BAD. THE MONEY THEY MAKE IS OFF THE BACKS OF THE EMPLYESS. THEIR LOAN RATES ARE USUALLY LOWER THAN OTHER BANKS AND THEIR FEES ARE LOWER. IF I WERE TO GET A LOAN I WOULD GO THROUGH THEM, BUT THE EMPLOYESS SUBSIDIZE THE "GOOD RATES" WITH THEIR LOW PAY
Advice to Senior Management
NONE REALLY. THEY ARE QUITE CAPABLE. THE BANK IS ALWAYS PROFITABLE (REASON INDICATED ABOVE)
Pros
They give you a great opportunity to start in the banking business. It is a great place to get experience in the field. They have a very good system and trainning facilities.
Cons
Salaries are way below the average in the industry. Most of the times you have to work on weekends and long hours during the week. The morale of most of the employees is very low so that just makes going trough the day harder.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior management needs to listen to their employees and try to keep them happy. They need to fight and request salaries increases for them. The turnover would be lower if they would do that.
