    Pros

The best thing I like about working at IP is enjoying the Benefits of salaried employees. Leadership is great and the company as a whole is one of most safety minded engaged facility that I have ever worked for. IP Sumter Sheeting that is! Not one complaint in the area of safety.

    Cons

12 hr rotating shifts, while not all that bad tends effect your sleep habits. I think we could stand another dollar or two, I think we are the lowest paid IP facility that exist. That in-turn is good for company cost and expense's, but not for the employee or the moral withing a facility where everyone does they're best to see the company succeed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing an Outstanding Job, and try to get us some more money. Im just being honest!

    Pros

Awesome coworkers. Fun jobs. Feeling accomplished at the end of the day.

    Cons

Some jobs have terrible pay. Some Dept's have terrible management (PS+D). Company wastes a lot of money in the name of "safety" without doing proper research.

    Pros

When left alone current employees can run day to day by themselves.

    Cons

No room for advancement. In title nor compensation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to people on site. They see what is good, bad and ugly and when you swoop in and listen to one man that isn't active you do not get a clear picture. Everyone is disgruntled.

I have been working at International Paper

    Pros

IP is a fantastic company to work for. There's plenty of opportunity to succeed if you're willing to put forth the effort. Those who do good work are often recognized with opportunities for advancement. The pay is on par with the industry and high for those living in Memphis, which has an incredibly low cost of living.

    Cons

Office politics can get in the way at the corporate office, but that can be said for any large corporation. Decision making can be a challenge, which causes unnecessary and frustrating delays in some circumstances.
