I have been working at International Paper full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good if you need a job, and don't mind management making it up as they go along, at your expense.

    Cons

Where to start? I guess we will start at the top and work our way down. The plant general manager, walks around calling employees "peter buffers" the things that come out of his mouth are repulsive and offensive. How he has not been sued yet is beyond me.

The atmosphere consists of bend over at the drop of a hat. we will sacrifice every last one of you to move product and protect are bonus.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wish corporate would come in and re-evaluate leadership, if you can call it that. By no stretch of the imagination is managements behavior suitable. From reported drug use, child molestation.... we work right across the street from a mark, mind you, to so called T.R's sleeping with employees wives while they work mandatory overtime.

Large company with small company feel. Everyone is at the top of their game. Challenging and rewarding. Generous to needs and work-life balance. Employees are very engaging and friendly.
