    Decent benefits

    Cons

    Extremely negative work environment
High turnover - lots of quitting and LOTS of firing
Management has no training and doesn't know what they're doing
IB was recently acquired by Nexstar Broadcasting, which has an even worse reputation as an employer, management-wise and salary-wise
    Little to no advancement opportunities

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire people with management experience and TRAIN them
Create a less stressful, more positive work environment
    Behave professionally
Set realistic expectations and allow employees to set boundaries - there is a feeling among employees that they are being taken advantage of

I worked at Internet Broadcasting full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The tenacity of the management team will make this start up a winner, eventually but those who dont share their passion will be left in the dust.

Small early-stage company challenges. Flexibility and patience required.

I worked at Internet Broadcasting full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Filled with great people who believe in the mission. Coworkers have fun but treat you with respect. Boss was very supportive, especially in tense times.

    Cons

Lots of employee turnover because it's a volatile business. Also, CEO changes every three years and long-term employees are leaving, which isn't a good sign.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep key, long-term people to show commitment to employees.

I have been working at Internet Broadcasting full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Good coffee, relaxed enviornment and dress, pay was good at the time, not sure whats its like now.

    Cons

Lack of structure and the whole company was compartmentalized in such a way that it was almost divisive. Not a lot of opportunity to move 'vertically' -- basically just do your job and thats the past, present and future.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Internet Broadcasting

    Pros

    smart people
using newer technology in their websites
    ability to work at home
    decent compensation

    Cons

They go through a LOT of people. First two months I was there, we had four contractors come and go in a month. Two just no showed and took off and never came back. There are virtually no opportunities for advancement. Since their huge layoffs a few years ago, half the building is now empty. They've been through several CEO's, they also lost a lot of the sites they used to manage and appears to be just surviving right now. No idea how they plan to grow their business. All of their sites looks the same and offer no real design whatsoever and all the functionality is the same. Most of their revenue is generated from managing their existing sites.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I can't think of anything right now.
