    Pros

It's a good company to work for as long as you are willing to work. I enjoy supporting our drivers and showing that there are some of us that do care.

    Cons

I hear Co-workers especially payroll and fleet managers that are rude to our drivers. I know that drivers have a bad day but, they are out there in the elements fighting traffic and DOT guidelines to get our loads delivered. When they call in, they don't need a bunch of rude people answering the phones.

    Advice to Management

Walk the floors, listen to office staff, train them on conflict resolution. And oh my goodness, get the other locations trained. They simply refuse to answer phones. Drivers don't feel valued.

    Pros

Company is all about safety, doing things right. All good equipment, very well maintained trucks and trailers. Decent load miles, reasonable appointment times. Headquarters in Tacoma treats drivers with respect. Its a very stable company,

    Cons

Pay could be better, drivers; youre living in a truck and spend a lot of time away from home. If you want to be home every week, you wont make any money. Tacoma WA treats their drivers very well, the other terminals do not, youre just a number to them.

    Advice to Management

Explain to every new driver - this is a long haul company. Because when you try to accomidate everyones "need to get home" it messes up the load plans, and the whole company suffers. Also Tacoma, take responsibiltiy for how sloppy managers run things in Los Angeles, Dallas, Lebanon and Findlay.

    Pros

Owners, Mangers, and all employees were great to work for and with. Benefits were outstanding.. Owners treated employees as if they ere part of family.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

I don't no hat it is like now but back when I worked in the 90's Management was top of the line. I hope it is still the same.

    Pros

This company is with the transportation industry and has many employees who are drivers that make many pick ups and shipments. There are also many other employees that consist of managers, dispatchers, service writers, mechanics and office administration.

    Cons

Not much growth to move up in management even if you have obtain a four year degree.

    Pros

New Kenworth T680s are nice. Runs average 6~800 miles one way. Pay & benefits aren't bad.

    Cons

Account managers love to use email for communicating. If I wanted a office job I would've applied for one. I'm a truck driver. Pick up the phone and communicate with your drivers! I waited for a email response from my manager over a hour and a half. By then I made my own decision to handle the situation's best fit. Computers in trucks and time management don't play well with me.

    Advice to Management

I understand you have 30~40 drivers on your board which I think is ridiculous, but someone has to come up with a better plan. Sitting and waiting on email replies in a big truck is the dumbest thing I've experienced in my 12yrs of trucking. When working for large trucking companies, this is what you deal with.

    Pros

New equipment, good pay. .32-.38cpm for company refer. great communication for a truck company. plenty of miles.

    Cons

no chain up pay, bad layover and detention pay.

    Advice to Management

consider paying employees for chaining up if you are going to tell employees in orientation you require chaining.

    Pros

Some of the best equipment on the road. They push hard for safety. They have safety and mileage bonuses. For the most part, work well with drivers.

    Cons

But...for a company always instilling safety, they are constantly pushing tight runs on you. And as any driver will tell you, when you rush, mistakes will happen. Something you'll even hear through their safety conversations. And yet...

    Advice to Management

Stand completely behind your safety goals.

    Pros

Not to much to say here. Have been extremely unhappy. Trainers/ mentors are great but they're the only ones that are any good

    Cons

Low miles, low pay. Many many empty promises made. Pay roll dept and dispatch need to work together better

    Advice to Management

More miles, get everyone on same page
