Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Intesa Sanpaolo full-time for more than 5 years

ProsConsidering the actual situation in Italy, work in a bank it's a good opportunity to have a salary at the end of each month. If you work in a structure with colleagues, as happened to me, with a lot of experience, you will have a lot of things to learn.

ConsThere is little possibilities to have career opportunities if you haven't any recommendation by people working in the Management. You could be the best employee of the bank, but if there is a colleague, maybe also incompetent, with a recommendation by the Management, he will pass you

Wonderful

Intern At FX Sales (Former Employee)
Milano (Italy)

I worked at Intesa Sanpaolo as an intern for less than a year

ProsProactive colleagues, Nice clients and great opportunities. Everyone is kind and helpful, huge possibilities of learning. Nice location where to work as well.

ConsFastly paced environment, busy senior colleagues may yell at intern and junior colleagues. Milan is so hot in summer and the dress code could be a bar for productivity.

Risk Management: quite good as a first experience

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Milan (Italy)

I worked at Intesa Sanpaolo as an intern for less than a year

ProsPeople quite friendly, and general good "environment". Some people (but a few) high skilled.

ConsLow careers prospective, and the feeling that the meritocracy may not be clearly a value.

Advice to Senior ManagementTo have more interest to (fundamenal) "quantitative" aspects, and also in this sense to develop a true hiring policy.
