Pros
Great respect for employees, management systems focus on terrific employee experience. The company is a wonderful place to work.
Cons
The only cons is lack of mobility and upwards growth in the organization.
Advice to Senior Management
None
Pros
Good stable product with revenue
Cons
Horrible senior management and toxic work enviroment mainly because of Alberta staff, and those relocated to GTA
Advice to Senior Management
Clean house.... AB expertise is inferior to that of what can be found in GTA
Pros
Good Values.
Seem to care about Employees at least on paper
Great Benefits and outpays average tech companies in the market
Cons
Too much Business focussed and less Technology focussed.
Senior Management keeps chasing the latest fad. How can they have true convictions about technology of they have come ground up from Software companies
Advice to Senior Management
Hire a CEO from the Tech Company.
Focus on a few key areas
Do away with the hierarchies of Non-Technical people
Pros
Competitive pay, excellent benefits, great facility. Many technical staff members are extremely skilled in their profession.
Cons
Poor planning, same mistakes made year over year, unwillingness to invest in maintaining & improving internal systems. Poorly managed projects result in minor catastrophes every year - if not for the highly skilled technical staff, the issues would be far more apparent to our customers. Quick to embrace "fad" business trends such as process excellence/six sigma and using project management professionals (PMPs) only to abandon them when they fail. Project Management Office nothing more than a group of non-technical staff that are supposed to "manage" technical projects, but are really nothing more than fancy secretaries that track time and create more problems than they solve. Marketing and product management teams rely heavily on IT solve problems created by their own incompetence.
Advice to Senior Management
Intuit Global must make headway soon or the US will divest itself of it's Canadian and UK offices.
Pros
The Nap rooms! Great health plan, full size gym, workout room, great people to work with, education plan, lots of opportunity, over all just a great place to work!!! !!!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!!
Cons
flavors of coffe are not so good, but thats not their fault. Pay needs to be increased to support rising costs.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the Good Work!!! Offer more intern programs, to help support movement and increase advancement from within.
Pros
Benefits & gym, cafeteria etc.
Cons
Compensation. People getting let go.
Advice to Senior Management
Be more transparent.
