Pros
Good work life balance, decent compensation, good opportunities to learn, opportunities and forums for new ideas, good teams that are generally non political
Cons
It is not really a technology company and that trend continues as the managers and leaders hire in their own likeness.
Advice to Senior Management
Hire more people who can do things vs. tell the stories. There are enough of the latter. Too many directors and VPs.
Pros
- Serious investments are made by the company to develop and grow skills.
- Super smart exec / snr leadership team
- Intensely customer focused. Strong on integrity values.
- Generally, a very well managed company.
Cons
- Like any large company, it can be a complex environment to get stuff done.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep it up. Doing a great job. Keep investing in your people.
Pros
$ is the only reason to work. Good place to learn how to play politics. People come here with high hopes get disillusioned. People that have been around in this company for several years how to play the politics and screw the rest. The question is do you want to survive and merely survive....if you dont find any other job then this is ok - good paying
Cons
everything else other than $
Advice to Senior Management
all the best...... I've nothing to say
Pros
what i like to do i have here
Cons
team work need to be more active and transparent
Advice to Senior Management
Global engineering should be taken more seriously to deliver what is dreamed.
Pros
benefit package is very generous
Cons
lots of overtime is requested and expected
Pros
I have been at Intuit for a very long time and highly recommend it! They are very family-oriented and work life balance is truly practiced here. Great opportunities for internal mobility too.
Cons
It's a large company with many processes which can slow things down. VERY team oriented and collaborative and some people prefer to be heads down.
Advice to Senior Management
Find ways to make Intuit "sexier" to work for.
Pros
Great culture, supportive of work-life balance, transforming itself into an innovative company. Feel like there are great people here.
Cons
Probably not as well compensated as other tech co's in the area
Certain career advancement seems difficult (from Prod Mgr to Sr Prod Mgr)
Slow compared to startups
Pros
Medical Benefits, Culture, People, Great Pay, Workout Facility!
Cons
I honestly don't have any cons to offer!
Advice to Senior Management
I wouldn't do too much differently!
Pros
clear, well-communicated corporate strategy; extremely customer-focused; helpful colleagues, most will help if asked; environment of respect for employees; flexible working hours; promotes innovation.
Cons
lack of opportunities for vertical career mobility; too relationship-based culture; lacks urgency and sometimes accountability; change is slow; does not have a strong brand for innovation.
Advice to Senior Management
Be more aggressive in driving change towards vision; do not accept complacency and sluggishness -- we have no time for that.
Pros
Intuit offers great employee benefits and people oriented culture. Integrity without compromise is the number one company value and is at the core of Intuit and it's business practices.
Cons
Intuit is a mid to large size company so unlike a start up, things move slowly and decisions have to be thoroughly socialized before final.
Advice to Senior Management
Leadership at Intuit is probably the best I've witnessed and I'm continually amazed by how accessible they make themselves to employees at all levels.
