    Pros

Very good overall package and benefits.

    Cons

Lot of changes in leadership/vision. Lot of middle management layers. Very slow w.r.t technical progress.

    Advice to Management

With such large # of engineers Intuit certainly can move faster. For starters, try putting "people over policies".

    Pros

Flexible schedules, nice working environment, nice people to work with.

    Cons

Staff turnover is way too fast plus unclear management in the Woodland Hills site. I think other sites are still good.

    Pros

Great team, good schedule choices, offered OT, onsite cafe, free gym, parking & perks like monthly social with free food, drinks & alcohol. EXCELLNT insurance coverage.

    Cons

OT taken away within 2 years. Began survey to customers that was worded poorly so that company complaints were attributed to customer service reps, who suffered the low scores when they did not apply. Management refused to record and employees suffered, departments suffered until whole location was shut down and employees, including management, were laid off.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Stop worrying about your ideas being shown as poor or needing improvement by someone "under" you. Work as a team from the ground up. These mistakes could have been easily Corte Ted and jobs saved while still keeping the company in a high profit situation.

    Pros

good benefit but not so good anymore; some talented people

    Cons

too much focus on bottom line has put the company in a spin & instability, constant change which makes the efforts inefficient; outsourcing which in the long term does not pay off

    Advice to Management

Put right people in place; maintain the ethics you are advertising; pay more attention to real social responsibilities in real action rather than in superficial "kodak moment" notion

    Pros

Warner center location: The culture is very comfortable. The people are so so friendly! Def not a cold corporate environment. The diversity is also amazing, i haven't encountered this in any other workplace so it is very refreshing. Everyone is willing to help you at any moment in whatever way they can. The office spaces are very clean. There is unlimited coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, cups, etc. in the break-rooms. The break rooms are great. Each floor has its own TV room with sofas, a kitchen area, and game room with more TV's. The games are different on each floor, so far I've seen a Foosball table, ping pong table and pool table. As if the main break-room isn't enough, there are multiple quasi-break-rooms for your convenience. Downstairs you have a full gym, cafeteria and Starbucks. The cafeteria has really good food at low cost, serving breakfast and lunch, just for the employees. They also have a healthy menu to cater to the more health conscious crowd. The company always finds an excuse to cater free food for their employees just to make their day better. There are vending machines everywhere with a large selection of snacks, drinks and sandwiches. Those of you who like to take your time in the bathroom, you've found your nirvana! There is a good chance this is why Intuit is one of the best places to work in the country. The building looks awesome from the outside so just walking up to it will brighten up anyone's day. The parking is never a problem, there are outdoor lots and a structure which is covered if you don't want to leave your car out in the Cali heat.

    Cons

No real downside as long as you know what you're getting yourself into. Professionally speaking, I've noticed a lack of upward mobility. To some people the fact that you're doing the same work may get monotonous after a while but that's why you have to enjoy your work.

    Advice to Management

I like my managers, they're very nice people. Getting to know the people you manage, on a more personal level, isn't such a bad thing.

    Pros

Great benefits and growth opportunities. Great engineers.

    Cons

Used to be a great place to work but with so many system issues and re-orgs it was difficult to complete daily tasks in a timely manner.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in growth in the work place

    Pros

Decent benefits too cheap to cover a working spouse

    Cons

Yearly layoffs, bad management. micro managers, no steady leadership. After 4 years I have not grown and it's not for the lack of trying, learning and going above and beyond. It's a not what you know but who know division. A college graduate reporting to a high school drop out with NO previous management experience.

    Advice to Management

Get out of the payment industry. We all know you are shuttering the LA office speed up the process.
