Listen
Pros
Pros: Stable company, market leader, good product, competitive pricing, good people who you can learn from and be inspired by, opportunity for advancement, tuition reimbursement, major medical, 401K, sense of "helping" people due to the nature of the products.
Cons
Cons: Old boy network, but HR is actively trying to change that, if you're strong, smart and network right, you can break through, favoritism, heavy politics, a lot of peer pressure to drink and party with the executives, can be a "peyton place", Medicare drives a lot of the business - can be good or bad depending on your perspective
Advice to Senior Management
Address the issues that are brought to your attention, the intent is to make the company better for everyone involved.
Pros
Starting salary was OK, but no chance of improvements.
Cons
Very insecure, frightened employees and managers. Very poor communication of changes and plans.
Pros
Flexible hours
Good work / life balance
Decent benefits
Acceptable salary / wages
Friendly co-workers
Comfortable work environment
Overall I view it as a positive experience.
Cons
Favoritism
Lack of opportunity for advancement
Fear that management is going to outsource your job (if they can, they will)
Advice to Senior Management
If there were more opportunity for advancement, I may have hung around for a while longer. This was my biggest reason for leaving: it was a dead end.
Pros
Good learning ground for the industry.
Cons
Highly political environment that poses many challenges in accomplishing anything.
Advice to Senior Management
Join the 20th century!
Pros
You can advance through promotions. Livable salary. Great Co-Workers Medical Benefits are top notch.
Free Parking on site. They always have training classes so you can learn new skills. If you want to be promoted management will work with you on what you need to do to get to the next level. 401K program that they contribute up t3% . Bonus yearly as long as the company made a profit. Nice work atmosphere...most in their own cubicles except for Customer Service and they are in a call center type of call center setting but each still has their own desks.
Cons
High turnover of the mangement teams.. They like to bring in NEW blood every couple of years. So if your applying for a management position your days are probably numbered.
Advice to Senior Management
Overall a very good job.
