    Pros

The company is a leader in MEMS sensors and has a lot of good projects. Good opportunity to learn a lot and grow in the industry.

    Cons

Lots of projects, less employees, more work. Very little effort goes into documenting the code and design.

    Pros

Got there pre-IPO and stock options were able to compensate me well. A lot of growth during my time there. Learned a ton.

    Cons

A lot of politics in the company. Everyone is too scared to make any real decisions. Create a lot of duplicate roles because people don't get fired even though it is really clear they should be. No real direction of the company.

    Advice to Management

A lot of firing needs to happen in the company.

    Pros

If you just want to come to work and hang out, you can safely do that..

    Cons

Unbelievable amount of politics. SW team is horrendous. Few or no talent..
There is absolutely no sense of teamwork, incompetent yet super arrogant directors and managers.

    Advice to Management

Adding value thru sw is a pipe dream, you can't achieve it with this team, real major shake ups necessary. good luck!.

    Pros

    In a niche market.

    Cons

Middle management very political. Throttling the growth of the company. Lack of creative ideas. Always copies ST Micro. The place is a sweat shop.

    Advice to Management

Should have enough knowledge to see what middle management is up to.

    Pros

It's a small company, so you can get to know many of the decision-makers personally and get your ideas implemented. Benefits have improved over the past year, particularly vacation time. Working hours are longer than 9--5 or even 9--6, but still pretty reasonable, and I've seen people exercise a lot of flexibility.

    Cons

Procedures are not very well established. Some departments are stuck in a mindset of chasing customers instead of building a solid foundation for the future. These departments also have high turnover. To avoid this as a job candidate, just ask your interviewer how many people have left the group in the past year.
