Don't change leaders too often
Pros
Company has experts with years of experience in the industrial automation industry. Campus is wide open and allows people to really work in a team environment
Cons
Does not have the spark or flair seen at other software companies. Products and marketing is very straight forward and there isn't really a lot of celebratory moments.
Advice to Senior Management
Need to bring back the feeling of a small software company which will breed more innovative ideas and stronger products to market.
Pros
co-workers were very supportive of each other
Cons
upper management was not in tune with our needs
Advice to Senior Management
Get rid of the top and start over

CYA culture - can be mean spirited because of fear and desire to protect individual interests
Leadership seeks to place blame instead of resoling problems
Terrible systems and lack of consistent common processes make it extremely difficult to be effective and get work accomplished
HR organization has incompetent, inexperienced leadership following recent reorganization
Pros
good benefits, good on your resume
Cons
Upper management has no clue as to what is going on. They also allow abusive employees to stay, even when everyone is aware. Not a friendly place to women in general.
Advice to Senior Management
Clean out the gene pool. There are a lot of whiners and slackers running the show and ruining it for good talent. salary is lower than competition.
Pros
1. Good work and you can gain good knowledge
2. Good opportunities to explore as it’s a small company, very high Visibility
3. Pay is Ok not bad
4. Promotions and Hikes are Good if you are working hard !
Cons
1. Politics.
2. No Work-Life Balance (Only you have to balance Work and you need to forget your Life !).
3. Opportunities likeTraining and Technology updates are less.
4. No Professionalism. Manages are Biased.
5. Less or No Onsite Opportunities.
Advice to Senior Management
Need to improve in Professionalism. Try to create a healthy policy for Work-Life Balance. Train middle level Managers for skills in People Management.
Pros
Invensys has a flexible work schedule, allows us to balance work and home life, decent benefits although they seem to decrease every year, challenging work, and good clients.
Cons
Pay is below industry. Even though i have opportunity to grow, the typical percent raise is 5%. They say their hands are tied and cannot do anything about it.
Pros
The pay is okay, the benefits are good. Some aspects of the work are challenging and enjoyable. There are people who try to "care" about you.
Cons
Growth is not really an important aspect of working here. You may have ideas on how to do things better, but unless you are in management you don't really get listened to.
Management often uses a command and control (and sometimes threatening) approach to making people do work. Real team work is uncommon.
Advice to Senior Management
Management are typically promoted to managers through demonstration of outstanding technical expertise in an area, however once becoming a manager, they continue to manage by imposing technical constraints on a team. They need to learn how to be managers of people instead of products.
Pros
-Awesome Supervisors
-Open Culture
-Flexible work hours
-Treat employees very well
Cons
Don't provide any sort of help in relocating
Advice to Senior Management
Continue the good work!
