Run like a small family business--like a pizza parlor. Meaning that the owners "sons" can do anything; even if its stupid or pushing the envelope.

Advice to Senior Management

Hire professional mgmt that have proven experience working multibillion dollar companies. Deal with the reality that someone that was capable of running a small function or operation may not have the competency to run a large operation. The Peter Principle applies even when operations grow too big for someone to handle.
