    Nice Place To Work!

    Anonymous (Former Employee)
    Houston, TX

ProsGood incentives, friendly, casual culture. This company has a very nice, physical environment. I enjoyed the years I spent working there.

ConsA bit rigid! It was a little difficult for me to climb the ladder there, so I left to explore other options.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou have great leadership, but some get offended if asked a question they can't answer. I think your leadership should be trained to welcome all kinds of inquiries; they should not be threatened by them.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    All things aren't good.

    Business Analyst (Former Employee)

ProsThe best reason to work for Invesco Aim is the benefits, location, free parking and free cokes. Being that Invesco AIM is a part of the financial investment business it has taken a beating from how the financial industry has fallen.

ConsSome of the downsides of working at Invesco Aim is lack of room for career advancement, downsizing and being a subsidiary of a larger company. The company is ran like a true "corporate company". The initial founders ran the company like a family owned business and you could see the difference in the environment at the company. Now it's strictly all about the bottom line. The employees do not come first as they did in the past.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvolve the people who actually do the work everyday.

    Great people / OK Managers.

    Project Coordinator (Former Employee)
    Houston, TX

ProsOffered tons of benefits and opportunities for employees to make it a fun atmosphere.

ConsCompensation was average. In just the short time I was there it went from one big family to a more corporate atmosphere...which took away some of the charm of the company.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure that compensation packages are competitive and make sure managers are trained to be managers.
