    Pros

the biotech industry is relatively stable and not too sensitive to general economic conditions. Long term growth possible, work not too stressful compared to other high tech industry.

    Cons

this company has a very old and slow corporate culture, there is very little incentive for doing a good job, relatively low salary and benefit.

    Advice to Management

    should focus on employee development.

    Pros

Good Pay, Good PTO, personal growth is there if you take advantage of it. Company is not the best though, CEO is looking to fill his pockets.

    Cons

Cost Savings measures always being implemented. CEO is looking to fill his pockets by taking constantly taking cost saving measures.

  6. ok. nonstop change. many layoffs. CEO focused on his own salary, not growing company. six sigma this, six sigma that

    Pros

Science was wonderful. If you worked on high profile stuff you had top notch equipment.

    Cons

If you didn't work on high visibility products you more or less had to work with duct tape and string. Two or even one level above you, if they had a pocket full of fracks, wouldn't give you one.

    Advice to Management

Fire all of them and bring in someone who really wants to do life sciences and not fatten up a company for sale.

    Pros

The stock. Good for everyone at the top.

    Cons

Just ask the employee turnover rate. Ask the number of women and minorities in senior executive roles and on the Board. Ask the percentage of employees over 50 years old. Ask what they really value as part of their culture. You won't have a formal number of vacation days at Director and above so that when you leave, they don't have to pay for any unused.

    Advice to Management

Change the little man at the top.
